Bar Louie - One Loudoun

We had a very disappointing experience here. We made lunch reservations for 10 people to celebrate my son's graduation. The restaurant only had 1 other occupied table with 2 guests. Our waiter was excellent & extremely friendly. However, when it came time to put in our entree orders the waiter came back from the kitchen 3 times telling us the items we ordered were not available; first steak, then grilled chicken and then no grits...all they had was the shrimp for shrimp &grits and there was no offer of substitution for the grits either. For such a popular & frequented establishment one would think you would have the basic items like steak & chicken available at all times. And if you do not, maybe you should share that with your customers before they are seated.

I dined here Monday evening, and had a great experience. It seemed a little busy but our server, Maddie, still made sure to give us plenty of attention. I wish martini Monday could be every day of the week, but I’ll be back for sure anyways! I’m def a fan

A fun place to sit outside in the warm weather and enjoy good food and drink

Well I did have a bad experience last week and I'm new to the area from Florida. my food was under cooked and me and my girl had gotten sick for a few days. Moving forward I spoke with one of the managers last night and I think his name was Dan and he gave replaced the 2 meals for us and it was absolute delicious. he didn't hesitate to take care of us and I think the guy who assisted with the food and help getting us to the manager name was Richard if I remember correctly. I highly recommend this place and I'm definitely coming back. Thanks Dan and richard

I made a reservation for my party of 6 for 4 PM on a Sunday. I wasn't aware that this is a slow time for the restaurant. I arrived ahead of my party and sat for 10 minutes before the server came out. She brought menus with her that were dirty and sticky. I asked for new ones and she brought more out that were worse than the first ones. I got up and tried to find menus on the bar that were clean and I wasn't able to. I ask the server once again to bring out clean menus which would hopefully get there before my party arrived. She never smiled or apologized for the inconvience. That was the start and not a good one to my experience at Bar Louie. When my party arrived, we ordered food and drinks. The drinks were watered down and our food items were not hot and just okay. I probably will not return.

Always surprising. You wouldn’t think basic chain restaurants have really great food. But here I’ve always been happy.

Server was so slow. Had to ask another table's server to find our server at one point. When we asked him questions about the dishes he had to go ask someone else, he had no knowledge of the menu or the dishes. And we were celebrating a birthday which we told the server and he completely ignored. Didn't even offer us a comped or discounted dessert. The food was okay. The shrimp and grits were good but way too salty. My boyfriend got the steak and truffle fries which were fine but nothing special. If you want a good steak, this isn't the place for it. But we've always had good experiences with the burgers at Bar Louie

Our waitress was fantastic, very attentive and helpful. The music and food was great. Great food and drink prices

Meal quality was way above the expected for a “bar and grill” atmosphere. Absolutely amazed at how good it was and especially given the price. Super good French Kiss Martini!!

We specifically went to this restaurant for the deal on burgers and beers. We even asked about them when we ordered, but the server did not give all of us the discount. She only gave the discount to the people that specifically asked. Then she didn't show us the check before we paid. I was very disappointed.

When I went there they didn't have my table reserved even though 4 days before I did my reservation and the service was very bad and takes forever.

I don't enjoy going to bars BUT I'd say this location is a pretty good bar, drinks didn't make me cringe in cost but sheesh at least you get a strong drink.

I can actually talk and socialize since the music is at an enjoyably loud volume, the dance floor is active and fun.

Food is fast and absolutely amazing whilst drunk no clue sober but I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Vegetarian options: Honestly pretty sure only vegetarian option is chips but they are really good chips and come with salsa, avocado and another sauce I can't remember (I was drunk).

Parking: It's easy to get an uber here but I would not recommend driving here especially don't drive back if you drank at all, cops posted up rolling deep looking for DUI quota to fill.

Sunday afternoon, not very busy, but unattended children running around the place screaming. Super annoying. We didn't stay long.

Have never written a review for a restaurant in my life.. but after this past Sundays experience and having been to bar Louie many times with a great experience, I felt the need to leave this review so another customer doesn’t receive the same experience and improvements can be made.

I came in this past Sunday to watch the games and enjoy some food and beverages. The bartender on duty at the time, a manager I’ve had little interaction with in previous visits, was named pattie I believe.

Upon sitting at the bar I ask her if a couple of my favorite bartenders were working today as she replied very direct and snarky “no one is here” ..
So I asked do you know if either come in today and yet again very short “no one is here”.. I didn’t pay this much mind even tho she just seemed rude and unhappy to be in there I continued to watch the games and finish some work on my phone/computer.

As I’m on the phone with a client of mine working an estimate out on my computer, I tend to shake my leg when sitting still as I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD and have hard time sitting completely still (note I was the only person at the bar besides two at a high top behind me) and she comes over and put her face across the bar near mine and interrupts work call telling me to stop “moving my leg” which really agitated/irritated me as it was extremely rude while im working.. not a hard person to please when it comes to dining experience.. but it’s commons sense to have the decency to wait till I’m off the phone even though I saw it as wrong of her to ask me even if I wasn’t off the phone as it seemed more of a control thing for her since I’ve never had any person at a bar or restraint ask me such a bizarre thing.

The experience after that was awkward as it was taking more than reasonable amount of time for refills, as well as the bacon egg and cheese I’ve gotten multiple times was very dry and under par for some reason which I didn’t even mentions and paid full price due to the environment she had made.

Usually love this place! But I would check twice if she’s in there bartending before you sit down for drink or food.

P.S If Dayqwan, Devon, Jo, or malechi are working the bar I have only had AMAZING experiences and highly recommend!
