I used to enjoy having lunch here because of the wonderful shrimp and grits. But now they only have sandwiches, and I have no reason to go back. Very disappointing when a restaurant removes the best item from its menu!

Beignets in every way! Creative menu, friendly staff, and ofcourse - AMAZING beignets! Soft, fluffy, pillowy goodness... ? The dipping sauces are just perfect, and you've got to try the Marshmallow Mountain cold brew and the Grilled Peach Iced Tea (seasonal menu item I think...)My favorite on the menu would probably be the Gochujang Pork Shoulder over creamy polenta grits (when it was on the menu) and the Warm Banana Beignet Pudding!!! The Smoked Beef Tri-tip Sandwich is also a great option if you're feeling more sandwichy.So many yummy items on the menu that keep me going back. Keep an eye out on new menu items they seem to roll out every season (I think?). A good place to check is their website! Or come in store and ask if they're working on anything special for the upcoming season. Sometimes I get lucky and get hints! ?

I will always recommend these beignets to anyone who has a sweet tooth like me!! my family and i have gotten beignets and sandwiches multiple times and i’ve never been disappointed. The dipping sauces are incredible and i think i’ve tried almost everything on the menu! i highly recommend trying out bilstads beignets!!!

Small shop hidden in the back of a strip mall sort of deal. Soft, fluffy, hot, delicious beignets. Strawberry dipping sauce was obviously just pureed fresh strawberries and was delicious. Breakfast items were great. Staff was enthusiastic and helpful.

I'm from south Louisiana so my standards for Beignets are through the roof. Many pretenders, very few contenders. These were fantastic though. These are 100% legit and very good!!

Guess what I had fur lunch? Beignets from Bilstad. WOW! I killed two with a nice cup of coffee. All three dipping sauce were yummy. Apple, caramel and cookies and cream. Well done.

My sister surprised me with a Sat morning visit to Bilstad's Beignets. This is now my family's go to spot for the best beignets in the area. I hope they consider a permanent Haymarket or Gainesville location, so we can go here more frequently. There's so much opportunity spreading the love of beignets in either of these areas. Looking forward to enjoying the best quality beignets from y'all again. Their definitely made with attention to deliciousness. ♥Kid-friendliness: A very comfortable atmosphere for children. The owner & staff are very kid friendly & greet everyone coming through the door.
