Stopped by this spot on a whim and decided to randomly try a new Chinese place—and wow, this one really hit the spot. Everything was so good. The service was excellent from the moment I walked in; the gentleman who greeted me was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.
The food was delicious, and I absolutely loved the Singaporean noodles. They also have so many options that you don’t typically find at other Chinese restaurants, which was a nice surprise. Service was quick, portions were great, and I really appreciated that they use recyclable containers.
There’s also plenty of parking and lots of room inside, which makes it an easy, stress-free stop. Overall, just a really solid experience with great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back.

What a great meal we had! We had a large family outing, celebrating many birthdays with a cross-cultural gathering. We were so grateful to find Cafe Opera. The hostess/owner was so gracious, warm, and accommodating. She helped us pick the right amount of dishes, and guided us to ones that best suited our diverse group. Once it arrived, the food was delicious, the service helpful and kind, and the servings authentic. The cook moderated the seasonings to suit those with preferences for less-spicy dishes; and the owner made sure that we identified any allergies or food issues before ordering. And - it was just a lovely, gracious, and memorable evening.

Cafe Opera is super cozy, has really amazing food, and our hostess was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our dinner. He got drunken noodles and I ordered Singaporean vermicelli. I tried some of their hot sauce, and it was delicious. They make their sauces in house, and it's apparent in the abundant flavors. All the while, opera is being projected on the wall, making for a cool little atmosphere. Definitely try this place!

This is the best Chinese food I have found in N. VA since 2020 closed so many places down. The dumplings appear to be hand made and are excellent. The Hot and Sour soup was better than most. The entrees were perfectly seasoned. I have had dinners at the Taiwan embassy and this is every bit as good as that. Definitely worth the price.
