Used to be one of my favorites but a sign on the door today says Permanently Closed.

Usually love this place, came like 26 ish minutes before close and when we walked in everything was put away and the employees were kinda just staring at us and it made it feel really awkward and unwelcoming 😬

I don't think I've ever had bad food at Cafe Rio. Their Taco Tuesday is an absolute winner. Fresh tacos with corn or flour fresh made tortillas, shredded meat, lots of toppings including guacamole and sour cream. At the store I visited today it was just $2.69 a taco. Two of them were more than a full meal.

I had a delivery order. When it came I began to eat but my tongue burned so bad and it made me choke😡I asked for mild sauce but it certainly was not!{{

So we have been going to Cafe Rio for over 20 years. Cafe Rio's portions are known for being generous, and I would say that this is the most skimpy Cafe Rio I have ever been to. Not just on what I ordered, but what all four of us ordered.

The cilantro-lime dressing also tasted bland ... tasted like I was having plain mayo.

And the lady helping us was trying to charge us on things that come with the meal. And then we had to correct them. I understand that it would have simply been a mistake on their end (because when people are new to working at a place), so that isn't a big deal at all.

I am definitely disappointed enough to take my time to leave a review. We stopped at this Leesburg Cafe Rio while commuting home, and we will definitely won't plan to do it again.

Cafe Rio is awesome! So it hurts to leave a bad review, but this one wasn't a good representation of the place.

This place SCKS, It was our FIRST time here (4 of us) and it will be our VERY LAST!! The lady who prep/serve the hot food, she was grasping for the leftovers of the steak in the container like who does that? You first fill up the container even half way so customers dont see that ur serving the LEFTOVERS to customers 🙄 I told her that is not even 4oz of steak can you weigh it? And she just rolled her eyes.. Restaurant should have a measuring spoon to serve the same amount always “not tongs” and do it to calculation. Anyway I did not end up eating here.

Very good casual Mexican dining options with polite staff. Their horchata is delicious and refreshing.
