Carolina Brothers Pit Barbeque

BBQ beef was dry and overcooked. Sauce is put on at the table from a bottle? What is up with that? Cole slaw was flavorless, baked beans tasted like they were from a can. Best part of the meal was the can of diet coke. Maybe I don't like Carolina BBQ after living in Texas for a long time where real BBQ was a favorite place to go.

My First time here. Everything was awesome and at a affordable price. Will definitely go back.

We had been there for just to try a sandwich and one more food just reached just before closing usually at 7 pm except saturdays. However welcomed warmly. Placed our order and waited few minutes got the food. It was very good. This location is just side by Washington old trail ashburn. Got free air for bike a blessing for trail users. Enough parking is there and nearby. Special place to keep the bikers bike safe. Have beer and wine also. Good place lunch and dinner, also can refresh bikers.

The ribs were great. Love the Mac and cheese and potatoe salad. Everything blends in so well together. The ribs are juicy and flavorful, falling off the bone!!!

Carolina Brothers provided catering (drop-off) for a birthday party I planned for my father with ~60 guests. Both the quality of the food and the quality of the service were superb. Frank reached out to me within a day of submitting an inquiry on their website, got everything together despite relatively short notice (less than two weeks before the party), was very flexible with our requests, proactively came up with helpful solutions to make sure the food would be served at the ideal temperature, and was very responsive to my communications in the lead-up to the event. The drop-off went perfectly; he showed up exactly on time. And most importantly, everyone loved the food, especially my dad (who was born and raised in North Carolina). I heard nothing but rave reviews.

If I ever plan another big event with BBQ, I would hire Carolina Brothers again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended. Big thank you to Frank and to everyone at Carolina Brothers!

First time here at Carolina Brothers I Heard lots of good things about the place so I decided to check it out the inside is very quaint almost like a little neighborhood general store the barbecue ribs were fall off the bone delicious the baked beans were bursting with flavor mac and cheese was also good needed a little bit more cheese and some salt and pepper coleslaw had great crunch needed a little bit more sauce for the coleslaw the two young men working at the counter were exceptional and they were very friendly where is also a place outside to eat lots of picnic tables and they also cater

Wow ? I can’t wait to come back! I loved everything about this place—the environment, the staff, the food, and even the name! One of the staff kept giving me a cute smile, and for a second, I thought, “Am I getting special treatment here?” But then I noticed *all* the staff were doing the same, and that’s when I realized—yep, it’s just their amazing customer service, not my charm! ? Definitely worth a visit!

Everything about this place screams perfection! Recently moved to VA but had this place a couple times before when visiting, and it’s always the first place I want to eat at. The shredded pork is my favorite and it’s so hard to choose a side. 100% recommend!

I like this place. There’s something special about it. The people that work there are great too. I’ve had it 3 times and it’s been exceptional every time. My 2 year old loves their sides and the chocolate chip cookies are legit like home made by grandma.

Stopped by for a late lunch today, as we hadn't visited in quite some time.

We had two smoked brisket sandwiches, a pulled pork sandwich and a couple of hotdogs for my son.

The pork was the star for sure - flavorful, tender, complimented well by the BBQ sauce on the table. I seem to remember there being a vinegar based NC-style sauce back in the day, but maybe I'm imagining that?

Those of our party that ate the brisket said it was very tasty today.

For sides, we had Coleslaw, potato salad, Mac and Cheese and baked beans.
The coleslaw was somewhat dry and lacking in flavor, but the other sides made up for it. The potato salad was particularly delicious and the beans rich and unctuous.

Service was alright, a little indifferent really, but did the job. In the end, $48 for a meal for 4 is a decent price to pay these days and I have no real complaints.

Oh, the interior refurb is nice - the floor looks great and the lighting has also improved.

We'll likely return again.
