This establishment was a recommendation and I have nothing impressive to say. I spent $27 tip included, on day old ribs and recycled sides. Will not return nor recommend.

After a 25 mile bike ride, nothing hits quite as hard as a big hot dog and a barbecue sandwich. Very juicy and they have great BBQ sauce available. Snacks and stuff are also available. The sandwiches
and hot dogs are huge which is great. Pricing was as expected, about 10 bucks per person to eat.

This BBQ joint is absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly flavorful—we loved every bite. Although I ordered through DoorDash, I didn't receive my cornbread because they were out. However, they handled it beautifully: they included a sweet note and a complimentary slice of pecan pie! That kind of thoughtful service is rare and made a huge impression. Great food and even better customer care. I will definitely be ordering again and can’t wait to try dining in next time.

Pretty good BBQ, sides, good portions, beer and outdoor seating right on the W and OD trail. Lots to look at. Great place for a stop on the yrail.

Brisket was dry (more akin to pulled pork consistency) and lacked the smokey flavor that you’d expect. Potato salad was great but the baked beans were too sweet for my liking. It had a molasses like texture. Reasonable prices at $14 for a sandwich and two sides.

What I didn't like was the table I ate at. One would need a putty knife to scrape off the accumulated sticky cruddy surface.
This is a Carolina BBQ vinegar based place...so don't expect Memphis or StLouis style BBQ. Handicapped parking is NOT marked tho there is a ramp with no visible markings indicating for the Handicapped. Food is okay, nothing remarkable.

The food was okay but not outstanding. It was a Monday so maybe it was cooked the day before? Their own bbq sauce was very tasty

Pretty good bbq and reasonable prices. No frills. Inviting interior, feels like a dive in the south. Brisket was good but I wasn’t wowed by the sauce. They had two options that were kinda watery. Would go back if in the area

Best Eastern NC BBQ I've had since I left! If you know anything about nc BBQ, you know it's all about the pork..... and this place puts Smithfield's to shame! Good to know I can go to a pig pickin any time I want even living in Frederick MD. The inside feels just like home and the sauces and banana pudding are spot on too. This will be a bi-weekly stop for us for a long time!

I don't believe they are actually smoking the food. Food was very dry and ribs needed to be cut with a knife. Seems like this place is about the sauce.

Growing up, my experience with baked beans was limited to the mildly sweet and tomato-y kind that came from a can. Trying these beans here for the first time was a revelation. They’re hearty and downright comforting, so satisfying that I found myself using the fluffy bun to mop up every last drop. The tender and moist pulled pork deserves equal applause!
