Chau's Cafe

Visited last month at Chau's Cafe and tried Chef's Special Taiwan style fried chicken, Combination Fried Rice, Ramen .. A place to have Chinese & Thai Food. Loved their food and service specifically Taiwan style fried chicken and Ramen. Good place and have many more options.

The food was amazing. We had several entrees, catered for my nephew's event and they were all delicious! Definitely want to visit someday

We order food for my nephew’s graduation celebration and everybody crushed the food! It is flavorful and tasty! The guests came back for their second plate. Would definitely come back again to order food for family gathering in the future.

Great food. Clean restaurant. Nice people. Dine in but you pay at counter then kind of so most things yourself from there. You grab your silverware, cup of water and find a seat. Food is brought out to you. It really was good. She brought me extra sauce and got us to go boxes. Good restaurant if you’re looking for something quick and easy.

I am highly dissatisfied with the service I received from the front staff. My friend and I came to eat here and decided to order boba for the first time. Unfortunately, the drinks were extremely disappointing — one was sour, and the other lacked the distinct flavor of Thai tea. The boba itself was so thick that it was nearly impossible to drink through the straw.

When we expressed our concerns and rightfully asked for a refund, the staff laughed at us and made no genuine effort to resolve the issue. I had to insist on getting my refund, which I eventually received. However, after this incident, they blocked my number and have now prevented me from ordering from them in the future.

As a frequent customer, I find this behavior not only petty but completely unprofessional. I am extremely unhappy with how poorly they handled the situation, and this experience has left me very disappointed.

Basic Chinese, nice portion minimal flavours. Not fancy.

What a joke of a restaurant. I walked in tonight at 9 PM and placed an order. Right as the cashier closed it out I remembered that I needed to have them pause and wait 10 minutes before they started making it. I asked and she said oh it’s too late it already transmitted to the kitchen I said really? Can you have the cook come out here? Open the door to the kitchen, pretends to talk to the cook and then shuts the door and says oh he’s already started cooking and it’s too late to stop. I was astounded. I then spoke to the manager who explained that the cooks all take off at 9:15 even though they’re open until 930 so That’s why they had to make it right away. Ha. They lost me over horrific customer service, and in addition the food was watery and tasteless. This place even has the audacity to have a tip jar for the cashiers just for ringing you up before you’ve even received the food. Definitely never going back.

Stopped in for a quick sit down lunch with my daughter who was craving shrimp tempura. We were warmly greeted by the young woman at the register. While ordering she was patient and kind. Then when it came time for our food it was delicious! It was fresh, hot, and nicely presented. I had the General Tao’s which was honestly the best I’ve had in a long time - could’ve been spicier but that’s my personal preference. I also had the shrimp rolls which were tasty. Next time I’ll try the dumplings though. My daughter had shrimp tempura (which she loved) and sesame chicken. She gave me two big thumbs up for it. The kind woman who brought it out was friendly to both me and my daughter. After we finished the she told us to not worry about our plates. We enjoyed our meal and the service thoroughly. We’ll definitely be back again!

I think I made a mistake and went to the wrong Chinese carry out. Ordered egg roll, which I expected to be a standard Chinese egg roll, not a spring roll. It was greasy with hardly any vegetable inside. Ordered fried chicken wings - pro tip, do not pack in the take out containers, it moistens the chicken and it should be crispy. They were good though, a 3.5. Finally, the Mongolian beef………the only thing I can say to make it very clear for other customers, this can’t be beef. If it is beef, it is the lowest quality beef of all time. But I’m pretty sure, it’s not beef. Waste of money, going in the trash, I don’t want food poisoning.

Ordered online. Says if you order $45 worth of items you get a free low mein. However when I went to pick it up, I was told that you now need to spend $50. But that's not on the website? Not only that, their free options reduced from about 12 different items to 3.

So one start for service. Overall two stars as at least the food was good

I have been going here for years and it is still my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

I tried their new bao buns and they were delicious! Also if you want something light but still delicious I really recommend the chicken lettuce wraps!

The front staff, the young girls who were there were very pleasant and attentive. We ordered the steamed chicken with vegetables and the miso ramen. The food was good except the ramen bowl had less broth than there's usually. The noodles were a bit much and i would really like it if they could provide additional hot sauce with it
