Food was not what we used to get. My husband had an upset stomach all evening and my Caesar salad came soggy with very little chicken.
Everything was great except for being out of short ribs. The steak I had was good but it wasn't the short ribs
Our server was awesome. I wish I could recall his name, because I'd love to give him a great shout out!
Atmosphere is pleasant. We ordered two appetizers. The server brought one appetizer then the second one about 15 minutes later. The calamari appetizer was tasty. The baked Parmesan shrimp scampi entree was not what I thought it was going to be. It was bland and watery. Other guests in our party of 6 were disappointed in their entrees as well. We have dined at this location about 4 times. I will say that this time it was difficult to say that we enjoyed the food. For the cost of the meal, I might think twice before we dine here again.
Love Cooper's Hawk. Food always good, and wine is great! Enjoyed sitting outside, overlooking the pond. Serene and relaxing. Service was very good.
Had some computer issues so the service was a little slower than normal but server did her best under the circumstances.
I always love going to CH but this was not a great experience. We had a great server but he was so busy he could barely check on us. We were there for 3.5 hours and only had appetizers and drinks. Our food kept getting delivered to the wrong table. We would have ordered more but it was so mobbed we thought we'd be there for several more hours to get served. I was not able to pick up my monthly wine because it was extremely busy, even at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday. CH just seemed very short staffed and it wasn't a great experience.
the reason for the service rating is the host staff. Every time we go to Cooper's hawk we have to wait even though we have a reservation and there are over 60-65% open tables. This time I watched the Hostess staff and they were cleaning menus and not busy. Waited 13 minutes, which isn't that long if they were really busy, but they were not. In addition, the hostess that took us to our table could have been a lot more friendly. She put our menus on the table and walked away with saying a word and before we were seated. Luckily our server was excellent and the food was good so that made the overall experience more positive. There are too many resturants in the area for poor hostess service.
I recently tried the seasonal Crispy Barbacoa Arancini at Cooper’s Hawk in Ashburn and it was incredible! Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, with the most delicious layers of flavor. The seasonal menu here is always a treat. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
I had the salmon and steak medallions. The salmon was overcooked and all I could taste was the sauce that was on it. The medallions were delicious. One was cooked perfectly but the other was overcooked a bit but still very good. It was our wedding anniversary and they gave us a glass of champagne. We also enjoyed a bottle of Moscato that was delicious. I ordered the smores dessert. It was okay but nothing great. I wouldn't order it again. I wish they had cheesecake on the menu. We enjoyed our visit. We drove two hours to eat there and plan to do it more often now. My husband had never been to one before.

Lovely evening with friends. From the wine tasting to table service. Overall, a pleasant experience. Food was delicious, wine was exceptional.
The service was over the top slow. I ordered filet mignon. When I ordered it medium, I told the waitress to please tell the kitchen I don't want it rare. It came out blood rare. When they brought it back it tasted like they microwaved it. It was tough and tasteless. I ordered a salad with my meal meant to come out before the meal but they brought it to me after the steak. I love the wine and highly recommend going there for that, but save your money and go elsewhere for dinner. This is not the first time we have had a horrible dinner experience there. It is the norm unfortunately.
We always love CoopersHawk. Great food and great wine. It does get crazy busy in there and they always seemed challenged to manage the crowd, but that's my only criticism.
I asked for medium well steak fillets on the surf and turf menu. Steak was medium rare. Didn't eat it all. The rice and vegetables were delicious.
We drive from Pittsburgh, PA several times a year just to come have dinner here and to use our wine club membership. The food is always outstanding and the service can't be beat.
