DC Prime Steaks

Amazing time thanks to our waiter Brian and the owner Rick. Celebrating my wife's birthday in style couldn't have been accomplished without the DC team. Thank you.

Typically service is impeccable. But this visit was abysmal. We sat in a booth in the bar area. Our server greeted us and brought us water. Then we waited over 10 minutes to order our drinks. He seemed to know most of the other tables and we watched him go to those tables more than once while we were ignored or forgotten. Then a family of 4 came in and sat on a bench to wait for a table. Our server greeted all of them with hugs and within a few minutes the server handed one of the adults a drink. At this point I had to get up and get him to ask for drinks. That was a poor start to my wife's birthday dinner and likely the reason our drinks didn't taste great. Next, I asked for no bacon on my salad, but got bacon on my salad. I have to recommend the dining area instead of the bar for all future visits.

Food was great. Steak perfectly cooked. Primarily waiter was not the best. The rest of the staff was great.

As we've come to expect, the food was amazing. The lobster bites, the salads (caeser, spinach, chopped) we so tasty. Our entrees were great, too. What did not meet our expectations was the service. Our server appeared nervous, or distracted, or both. He never introduced himself and paid scant attention to our needs. At the end of our main course, he brought a piece of cake for one of our party's birthday, but never offered dessert menus or offered coffee/tea or after-dinner beverages. We are not sure what was going on, but it certainly took away from our experience.

Amazing food! Amazing wait staff! Always our stop the night before taking a flight out of Dulles!

We always enjoy our dinners at DC Prime. We dined yesterday which was Veterans Day and I enjoyed the free steak - thank you very much. Our server - Brenda was excellent - jovial and professional.

Outstanding dinner. We had the filet and the NY Strip. Both perfectly cooked. Excellent service.

It's our first time at DC Prime. The service was excellent. Kai who served us explained the specials, menu & how the steaks are cooked. It was a personalized service all through out the night. Rick Crowe the owner even stopped at our table. He welcomed & greeted us making sure that we are taken care off. We had Filet Mignon & Flat Iron steak, they are tender & cooked perfectly. The sides mashed potatoes & French beans are tasty. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We will definitely return & have dinner again soon.

Everything is excellent. If you sit in the bar it can be a bit busy and loud but it's not too bad. The SERVICE is the best in the area, attentive and kind servers who go above and beyond just serving but make it an experience. Managed beautifully by Glenn and owner Rick. Chef Brad had inventive and exciting recipes and the cocktails and wine selection are superb. This is our most favorite restaurant in all of NOVA and DC.

Always a great experience at DC Prime. Food choices are a plenty with good selection of steaks and seafood combinations. Service and staff add to the overall dining experience. Back Soon!!

Excellent food and appreciate the restaurant accommodating my booth request for my husband's birthday. Birthday card was also a nice touch. Only points of feedback were it would be nice to have a plain grilled or roasted chicken option that isn't marinated or with sauce. I wasn't able to order any plain versions. Also would have been nice to have any type of small dessert with a candle for the celebration as most high end restaurants do this and I had seen photos of this previously done at dc prime. Just a nice touch that was missing in my opinion.

Our second visit wasn't great. The food was good but the service not at all like the first time we dined. We had a different waiter this time.

It was a careless night by the staff. We were seated near the bar and there were 4 separate times when glassware was broken at the bar, the bartender was very rude to our waiter at one point, two servers walking by swearing, talking about other guests, frustrated. Our server was great, our food was great, the restaurant is wonderful but it was not the best visit. There was a lack of professionalism that surprised us.

We had dinner for our anniversary and everything was delightful! Service was outstanding (Orlando was great!), the food was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back.
