I was in the process of creating an order for my husband’s birthday. The person I spoke to, told me that she will send me an invoice on a particular day. I waited the whole day. She hadn’t sent out an invoice. So, I texted her asking about the status. She said she’ll send me the invoice the next day. The next day, she sends me an invoice at 10:30 am, calls me at 11:10 am and cancels the order by 1 pm. I was out and only checked my messages at 4:30 pm. I checked my email around 2 to see if I received any invoice but I couldn’t find anything. I asked her why she cancelled. She replied that she needed my confirmation / payment by 12:30 pm to secure the order. She never ever told me that she will cancel my order if I did not respond within the 2-hour timeline. She literally could have told me even yesterday when I texted her. I would’ve even been happy to pay her the day I contacted her at first. I had zero idea about this. I did not even make any alternate plans because she had confirmed to me about the order. Now I’m in the position of finding another keto bakery who would bake us a birthday cake within 36 hours. I wish I would’ve known sooner. I really regret reaching out to this business.Edit - To your response, my issue is not that you sent the invoice at 10:30 am and expected a payment by 12:30 pm. My issue is that you hadn’t communicated about this 2 hour deadline to me the day prior when I texted you. You hadn’t communicated about this the first time I spoke to you. You could’ve simply said “I will invoice you at 10:30 am and I expect your payment by 12:30 pm otherwise I’ll cancel the order”. You did not do that. I would’ve been prepared if you did that. Instead, you sent a voicemail at 10:30 am that you need the payment in 2 hours - I got no prior communication of this requirement. My negative review was for the lack of communication on your part. Not for you cancelling my order or expecting a payment prior. You should be mindful about your customers and realize that some of them may not have alternative plans and maybe reliant on you to take care of their orders. You were very aloof about this.

Michelle made a very delicious cake for a very special birthday—She was attentive to every detail of the cake’s ingredients that we wanted and advised us on what would pair well with the red velvet. While the cake was a smashed hit and everyone enjoyed it, I was particularly impressed with her kindness, authenticity, sense of humor and stellar customer service!You won’t go wrong with anything she has to offer. We also ordered peanut butter cookies and a few other goodies at the market in VA where she frequents.

As a 25 year old life long Type 1 diabetic, I have to say this place has the BEST tasting sugar free desserts I’ve ever had! I had a cinnamon roll that was delicious and rich in flavor. I highly recommend this place to any and all diabetics out there!

We’ve never shamelessly enjoyed any desserts ever in our lives. The Magic Bars and even Cheesecakes are amazing little breakfast items. And the jam that’s sold is to die for.
