Authentic Mexican dishes in a fetching locale. Ignore the temporary construction -- the restaurant is open. The Jalisco burrito is my current favorite.

Service was Amazing, it's clean and the food was delicious! I had a party of 15 including kids and everyone enjoyed the dish. The mango mojito was perfect! Prices were reasonable and its authentic Mexican food. I liked the chimichangas and the steak dish. For desserts the churros were delicious and perfectly seasoned!

I read about this restaurant in a food review. A friend and I went there last week for lunch. They have a great, large lunch menu. I had the enchiladas verde and she got the carnitas. The food was delicious and the portions were generous and we both took home leftovers. Their salsa was also very good. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful (prettiest Mexican place I've been to in a while) and the staff was wonderful. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I was hoping this place would be good. But so far I haven't found good Mexican food on this coast. The Birria Tacos were pretty good but the Bean and cheese burrito was not what I had expected. It was narrow, no cheese or at least I didn't see or taste any. And it had a red sauce on top of it. The rice was a bit under cooked. The service was fine. Not Sure if I would try it again.

Nice, New Mexican place with a decent menu. Food comes out very quickly! Their chips and salsa are fantastic and their salsas are fresh each day. Never disappoints. Check it out!

FOOD/DRINK: 5/5SERVICE: 5/5AMBIANCE: 4/5I've been wanting to try this place ever since there was an article written about it. Right when we walked in, the host was there with menus waiting (their door was open so he probably saw us parking). Right away, we got drink orders in and fresh chips and salsa were brought to us. The chips were hot! We took a bit to decide and the waitress was very patient and kind. I ended up getting the tacos asados with al pastor and hubby got a steak quesadilla. I'll admit, I filled up on chips and it was difficult to eat my food. It came with 3 tacos, beans, and rice. Hubby gobbled up his quesadilla. FOOD:-Chips & Salsa - crisp and hot chips (they *might* make the chips?) with a perfect salsa that's not too chunky but also not too liquidy--not spicy.-Steak Quesadilla ($15) - deemed "yummy" and griddled with butter to make it crisp and delicious. served with rice, guacamole, and sour cream.-Tacos Asados with Al Pastor ($16) - very good tacos! served on corn tortillas and had crispy al pastor with juicy pineapple, white onion, and cilantro. served with rice and refried beans. rice was fluffy, beans were correctly salted. i didn't eat much of the rice & beans since I was full! Be alert - the sauce served on the side was spicy!Overall, very well priced and great Mexican place!! Next time I'll try a lemonade! I appreciate them being open later than restaurants normally are in the area - this will be a great later dinner option for us. (Note - they changed their hours to close at 9 instead of 10) Only weird thing is that there are no handicapped spots nearby. This isn't their fault, but found it odd that the shopping center didn't have any.

We really enjoy Altos de Jalisco, never disappoints! The enchiladas and the carnitas especially are on point. They have a great Monday margarita deal also!

Nice spot for some Mexican food. Has your typical Tex/Mexican fare. Margaritas are huge. Nothing is overly spicy. If you like spicier food like I do, you can ask for the hotter salsa. Staff is friendly and pretty quick. Def a spot to check out for lunch.

I’ve been meaning to try this place since it’s opened. I’m a huge fan of Mexican food so I was happy to see this place pop up.The service here was good. Our server was nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had booths and regular tables. We started off with the table side guac. It was prepared in their kitchen. I think table side prep means they make it in front of you and you can tell them the spice level and omit anything you might not want in it. Regardless of where it was prepared, the taste was on point. I am a fan.We all ordered the carne asada. I’m used to seeing it on a sizzling plate at Uncle Julios so this was a bit different. It was served on a plate. It came with a side of rice, beans, and a plate of salad/avocado/pickled onions/jalapeños. The carne asada was a bit too salty. I wouldn’t recommend this dish. I would be open to trying another dish in the future.Comparing this place to the other options around Ashburn, I’d say it was okay. I’ll try this place again and update the review if anything changes.

Love this new place that opened in a nearby Ashburn plaza. When we stepped inside we were greeted by a tastefully decorated bar. We decided to sit and enjoy the empty bar area. They have a choice of standard to custom margaritas. We tried one of each. Prices were reasonable and drinks were enjoyable. Complimentary chips and salsa was served. Salsa was tasty. I ordered the tacos and enjoyed the lime and spiced habanera sauce that came with the tacos. Sides of rice and beans were delicious. The queso was a tad watery but I'm sure it's because of my preference for thick sauces. My family has come numerous times including a recent visit where they got the whole fried tilapia. Follow their Facebook page because they advertise daily bar specials such as $2.99 Monday margaritas. Looks like they are also going to host live music. Welcome to Ashburn!

What a great find. Newly opened with a complete menu. Good value and a special lunch menu. Each dish appears to be made to order. Very good food. Checked was moist and tasty. Portions size was decent. Service was good and the manager stopped by. I don't give a perfect score on first visit but stay tuned because I can't wait to be back.

Amazing salsa and the Jalisco burrito is one of the best I’ve ever had. Come hungry, the meals are big and delicious. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
