Finally, a great fish and chips place here in Northern Virginia. Three big cod filets and perfect batter - not too thick and not too thin. Just right. When its time for my F&C fix, it'll be Finnegans from now on.

Wings and tacos are very good and the Reuben is outstanding! I don’t know if the Friday Fish and Chips are good but the smell is nauseating.
Family atmosphere is typically great other than Thursdays and some Fridays as it seems many groups are over served on those nights and it becomes too loud. Management needs to be comfortable and mature enough to address those over served, disruptive, stumbling and aggressive patrons.
Pot vapes seem to be allowed inside and it does over- smell/ stinks periodically and is not inviting.
Service is hit or miss depending on staff working. We have had to ask for service multiple times to receive food or drink on specific nights. Judy and, Hope and Brit is awesome!
We like to play darts and many nights that area is closed for parties when there are others spaces in the restaurant that aren’t being utilized. This is a draw to the restaurant with a loyal group of patrons that are a bit frustrated.
Management needs to more proactive with promotions and future information when pre planned events are scheduled and areas will be closed down. Ex. About 8 months ago, on the day of, I learned there was a close event when trying to come in. There had been no notice. Very little or no notice is given for private events. Surely there is advance notice.

Came for my dads birthday recently, kind waitstaff, nice environment and good food! We had the bangers and mash (which were 25% off!), the philly cheesesteak and the grilled cheese, all were large portions and very tasty. Would definitely come here again!

Was told this place had good fish and chips. Looked it up and went after work. Sat down away from all the drunks at bar. Waited. Waited. Waited. Twenty five minutes later got up and left. No one ever came to my table to take my order. Female bartender looked at me then as I walked out the door. Went to Thai place in same shopping center. Was eating dinner in twelve minutes. Was so good I got takeout for my family. Spent $84 there and not at Finnegan's. But thanks for helping me find the Thai place.
