worst place ever, dont eat here. customer service is awful. food comes out wrong, and they don't care if they mess up your order. please stay away from this place! Manger, Jaime Welsh is very unprofessional and rude! Ownership doesn't care to make the experience right for you. Ordered here for years and used for catering, will never spend another cent.

Outstanding fish and chips and NE Clam Chowder. Stumbled on this place on errands. Love to come back.

So, you know when you go out to eat and the food just doesn't quite hit the spot? Yeah, that was my experience at this new restaurant I tried last week. The dish I ordered were ok but not fully satisfied. But let me tell you, the service was top-notch! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience despite the mediocre food. It just goes to show that sometimes it's not just about what's on your plate but also about the overall atmosphere and how you're treated. Would I go back for the food? Probably not. Would I go back for the service? Definitely!

Oh my goodness; by far the most tasteless fish meal I've ever eaten. The cod was bland; the tartar sauce had no flavor; the sweet potato fries were burnt; the best thing about the lobster bisque was the cute little cream swirl on top of the shallowest bowl I've ever seen. Season the food. You know what, don't bother cause I won't be back!

I had fish and chips. The cod was dry (probably been frozen or in chill too long), only got 1 piece of fish (medium size) and a VERY small portion of chips (I could count the number of fries). Very disappointing....

ATTN COSTCO SHOPPERS OF FORDS FISH SHACK GIFT CARDSAfter years of buying these cards and using them (making sure we tipped based on total cost), we were stunned to find out their new policy of only accepting 4 at a time at least at the Ashburn location.. We experienced no such issue at Leesburg which we tried out for the first time..and it definitely had a buzz Ashburn lacks. I am planning to speak to Costco so they are aware and they should put some sign around these cards that say don’t expect to redeem more than 4. It’s a shame. When they were threatened with closure with the huge rent increases, loyal customers made calls and sent letters on their behalf. Guess that didn’t matter!!!!!!As an update spoke to Wayne a new Manager who was kind to take my call. He explained the restriction was only on Costco cards not in store .So no misunderstanding but a clarification that there is some paragraph that says only $100. I will still follow up with Costco .

The service was great and our waiter was extremely friendly. I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend and a couple of friends on a Saturday evening. We ordered the muffin basket, lobster bisque, fish and chips, and fish tacos. The order for the tacos came out cold, including the fries as well as our muffin basket. My friends ordered the lobster roll and calamari, which were tasty. Overall, this visit was a 3 star because the food was extremely salty and it came out a bit cold.

Truly sad when a place that has such amazing food and potential, can't get a to-go order right. Third time in two years items were missing. I tipped $16.50 just to ensure someone took the food prepared, boxed it correctly and put it in a bag. You can have the best food in the world, but without the ability to get it to your customer - your business won't last. To the manager who allowed it, shame on you for poor quality control. To the kid who bagged it, you're done getting tips from me and your business is done earning money by selling me food that is only partially delivered. When you're spending $40-60 per person for a meal, you'd expect that servers/staff would get it right more than 50% of the time. If you want to eat here in person, the food is amazing. If you want to order out- either double check your order every time and don't tip until the food has been confirmed or go somewhere else. For me- it's not worth the hassle, there are plenty of competitors.

All food was very good. Only the soup was too salty. Also the service was excellent .

1st time to dine at Ford's. I enjoyed the calamari and a Maine dinner of grilled shrimp and blackened scallops. All was excellent and solid portions for the price.Servers were attentive and courteous.
