Hunan Village in Ashburn maintains the same high quality across all of its branches and offers a Zabiha Halal menu, which we really appreciated.
While the dine-in area is on the smaller side, they comfortably accommodated our family dinner of 20 people, with an overall seating capacity of around 35–40 guests.
All the food was served fresh and flavorful. Although the soups could have been a bit hotter, we enjoyed both the Chicken Corn Soup and the Hot & Sour Soup.
Jenny was especially helpful and friendly—she assisted us in customizing the menu to suit our group, which made the experience even better.
This place is a gem hidden in Ashburn. The food is delicious and tastes authentic. I love the fact that they focus on no MSG and low sodium in their food. So far I have tried half the menu and loved every dish. My two kids who probably hold the title for pickiest eaters love this place too and there is no other place they like to eat at besides the usual fast food places. I was surprised they loved the fried rice compared to their usual order of chicken nuggets from fast food restaurants. When we finish the food here we never get that discomfort you get from other places and never regret our decision to eat here. This is by far my favorite place to eat at. I wish them the best and continued success. I highly recommend this place.

We ordered two entrees and both were sickeningly sweet (garlic eggplant and General Tso's). Tasted more like a garlic/chili syrup than a sauce. We couldn't even finish it. The soup was okay- a little too goopy from too much corn starch; the egg rolls were good.

We got dinner from here earlier this week and my whole family got sick. My nephew is in the hospital now. They said there was some bacteria in the food that caused his appendix to rupture. The dr said it takes 24-48 hrs for this kind of a reaction. This was the only place we ate from.

Told the person on phone, I will be there to pick up my lunch special and I am running late because of traffic but when I got there my food was not ready and they refused to give me lunch special. It was not a big deal but they overreacted .Have been ordering from here long time, but will not ever order again. The management/owner have no regards if you are there regular or not.

Wonton soup ($7.50) was so salty, we could not eat. Spring rolls ($4), Triple Delight ($17.99) and Combo Fried Rice ($13.99) had no taste at all. So with tip, order came to $53 and it all went in the garbage. I would not recommend the Hunan! I hardly ever write reviews, but this was so bad I had to post my review.☹️

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Virginia. I absolutely love their steamed shrimp with mixed vegetables. And their orange chicken is sweet and delicious 😋 PS The restaurant is Halal حلال ☪️ Oh Yeah 👍🏽 😀

I’ve been ordering from this place every couple months, usually placing large orders. Today I ordered 3 soups: 2 chicken corn and 1 hot and sour. When I got home, I realized they gave me 2 hot and sour and 1 chicken corn — the opposite of what I ordered. I called, and the guy said they owe me a chicken corn soup. Cool, that should’ve been the end of it.
But then a lady calls me back saying she “asked the staff” and my order was supposedly correct. I offered to send a photo, and she gave me a number to text it to. A few minutes later she calls back again, this time accusing me of mixing the soups to make it look like the order was wrong 🤯.
Seriously?? she kept talking over me, basically calling me a liar trying to scam them for a free soup 🥴. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here just this year alone. That’s how you treat regulars?
Never ordering from here again. ✌️
