Okada Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Our family loves this place. Quiet and reliable and good quality. Sushi chefs take care of you when you sit at the bar. We have not had any issues with service and have been here many times.

First time ordering from Okada. This is the simple way of knowing whether you’re dealing with a great restaurant, or a bad place that’s ripping off good customers.

In addition to some sushi and sashimi, you get the always popular beef/broccoli. You know what’s coming. But you hope you’ve found an honest and good restaurant.

Nope — 90% broccoli. I counted because it was easy— 4 little pieces of beef.

Nope, never never again. This place is clearly not a quality restaurant.

Probably the most bland ramen that we've ever had. At first, we impressed by the size of the bowl only to find it was half empty. The ramen egg was overcooked and buried under the broth. The toppings had no flare and was pitiful. Bean sprouts with some green onions? Where's the hijiki? Corn? sesame seeds? I coud've just made this at home. The broth was good but too salty. There was very little pork and it looked like it was just thrown in the bowl. Overall, the presentation was sad. The sushi was fine. If you're looking for ramen, go somewhere else.

Great service and the food is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant.

I used to frequent this place, and recently brought a friend. They gave me spoiled ginger to go with my sushi!!!

A Hit with Ramen and Sushi Lovers!
I recently took my son and his friends, all big fans of ramen and sushi, to Okada Ramen and Sushi at One Loudoun, and it was a fantastic decision! We were definitely not disappointed.
The ramen bowls are generously sized, and the fact that these hungry teenagers devoured every last drop speaks volumes about how delicious it was. They also enjoyed the gyoza and, of course, the sushi, which was a big hit all around.
One thing to note is that while I couldn't find their sushi menu online initially, they provided it right away when we asked. It turns out they do have a link for an online sushi menu, which I'll be sure to check out before our next visit to plan ahead.
I found their prices to be bit more as compared to other ramen and sushi spots in the area. Our waiter let us know about a great deal: on Mondays, ramen bowls are just $14 or $15, a nice discount from the usual $18.75.
Overall, Okada ramen and Sushi offers quality food, a pleasant ambiance, and excellent service. It's a solid recommendation for anyone looking for delicious ramen and sushi in the One Loudoun area!

I am so disappointed at their sushi nigiri. I ordered 10 pieces but they literally gave 2 pieces of the same nigiri, so the varity was just 5 of them. I think one of the white fish is actually the cheap fish I don't like in general. the Ususally it is not if you get 10 pieces from other restuarants. I don't think I will go again.

Thank you for the reply but I was not misunderstanding the menu. I would've ordered if I wanted specific nigiri. But it was 10 pieces that was on the menu, and usual Japanese restaurants give different types of nigiri, not like 2 salmons, 2 tuna, 2 yellowtail, 2 escolar like this.....

It’s a very busy place so we recommend to make a reservation or you may be lucky to get seated at the high sushi table.

Sushi is being made right in front of you so it’s nice to watch it being made.

Food is delicious, at least the options we ordered.

There is a parking house across the street but it’s busy as well so be ready to drive a couple of floors up to find your spot.

One Loudoun is getting too overcrowded and so is this place.

Prices are a bit higher for the size of the portions but again, you are paying the One Loudoun premium.

The manger is very rude, I ordered to go and the keep me out of the restaurant, they asked me to wait outside by the door what kind of customer service is this you going to get your food they ask you to stay outside I will never go back
