Best sushi place in the area! It’s great for dine-in, to-go, and has a nice little bar area for cocktails & appetizers. It’s great for anything you want, and can be casual or dressy. It’s always fast, the presentation is gorgeous, and the owners/managers usually come by to say hello. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food and service. We love it here!

i want to start this off by saying I have never left a review under a restaurant let alone the review being what I am about to say. today I walked into passion fin and witnessed the host (not sure what her name was) was completely off, she was super rude and even seemed to bully one of the servers, I witnessed it as she was with customers she committed a super unprofessional act by trying to down play the servers work, and this was all in front of the customers, you can very easily read the room of how this lady was having a power trip right in front of the customers that are waiting to be seated, I find this very unprofessional and it totally ruined the idea of eating at that place for me, I hope someone reads this review with care and really understands what I am saying.

Good Sushi offerings especially for the area it’s in. Friendly staff but given the demand in Ashburn for any decent Japanese food (the selection in the area is terrible) they desperately need either a bigger space or a second restaurant. This would diffuse the mobs there almost every night of the week. Food is good but not many new creations for a very long time and unfortunately take out orders have been wrong for me on several occasions in recent months.

Passion Fin has two of my favorite sushi rolls of all time — the sweet potato roll and the amazing roll. Never disappoints. They also have a very delicious Indian Pancakes with the spicy chicken dip as a great starter.

High quality food and service, large portions, wonderful atmosphere, and no wait for 2 people at lunchtime on a weekday (though they still had many people inside). Food arrived quickly with 3-4 people making sushi behind the sushi bar, and the very fresh sushi had more filling than rice (so awesome, great quality!). Loved the avocado salad (was so big!) and edamame, and they had great vegetarian options (avocado rolls, sweet potato tempura rolls, etc.). They made avocado cucumber rolls for us even though they weren't on the menu, and they helped us with our questions about dietary restrictions (one person had an egg allergy). I can't wait to come back!
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian rolls (avocado, cucumber, sweet potato tempura, vegetable roll, etc.) and appetizers (avocado salad, edamame, veg tempura if you're ok with the fryer being shared, etc.).

I dont go a week without going to passion fin. The staff are super nice and very welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and has a great affordable price. I cant say everything in words because everything is just so good. but overall this place is just amazing and I highly recommend. Once you come, they treat you like family!
We visit Passion Fin often and have since we moved here in 2017. No matter what other sushi bars we experience we ALWAYS come back here. Locally, the quality cannot be beat! The staff are absolutely amazing, so attentive and friendly, I feel as if we are a part of a family. Star is absolutely the best! The dining area and sushi bar area are extremely clean and the ambience is just perfect. As you can see by the pictures, their sushi is spot on. Great quality and care is taken when preparing the sushi. ? give it a try and see for yourself!
Parking: They have their own parking and they are adjacent to Harris Teeter shopping center so there is a large parking lot right there.

The rolls were tasty and the staff were kind and courteous but the Udon was not Japanese style I had imagined. Udon was very bland and the noodle had the typical uncooked flour taste, which is a sign that the noodle is not prepared properly.
