I visited Pho Factory based on a recommendation and ordered their small Pho Thai Nam, which included steak/beef flank steak in the pho as the protein option. To be honest, I didn't enjoy it all that much, and only had a bit of the pho noodles and pho broth with some of the sauces they had on the table and some of the Thai basil leaves and bean sprouts which was brought to mix in the pho. Maybe the option I selected wasn't the best choice, as I didn't enjoy the taste of the beef itself and the broth wasn't very flavourful either. Service was okay and the atmosphere of the restaurant wasn't anything special, but it was clean and the restaurant is located in a fairly good shopping plaza. Thank you

I ordered here last week. I got sick. I also had takeout for lunch. So I didn’t place any blame on this establishment. I ordered tonight 8/29/2025. 3 orders. 1 steak. 1 chicken. 1 brisket. All vegetables come in a plastic clear bag. The vegetables had a big in them. It was alive. Large. Not easily missed. All food thrown out. I understand bugs and vegetables are a thing. I clean my fruit and vegetables at home with a light rinse and then soak in baking soda and filtered water for a few mins and then rinse. No bugs remain. I don’t expect restaurants to do this. But I do expect a rinse at least.
How is the meat treated? Noodles? How does the kitchen look? Idk but if you get bugs in your vegetables they aren’t washed at all. Gross.
I have been ordering from here since 2023. The broth has the best flavor (subjective) from Leesburg to Ashburn. Noodles are traditional American style in pho noodles. Pho is good but won’t be coming back ever again.
The main person at the counter is nice.

This is one of the more authentic pho places in Ashburn. Think fast food but relatively healthy. You're not here for the scenery, you're here to enjoy the food.

Wow. What kind of Pho place is this? Place is freezing, with no heat. The lady then almost dropped a hot bowl of Pho on my boyfriend. The hot water from the Pho landed on my boyfriends shoe. The server is hard to find. She is never around. Skip this place.

They close early so their hours are incorrect.

Be careful about the receipt. Even one people, the same lady ( who always at the counter) , she always charged tips every times without telling you. She has never served the water 🙄🙄 or asked anything. That's so ridiculous. I think she is the owner like the other comments said.

Unprofessional experience. The restaurant’s hours stated they opened at 10:00 AM, so I arrived at 10:15 AM, hoping to grab a bowl of pho before heading to a movie. I decided to wait when I saw the doors were still closed, thinking it might just be a minor delay. However, the restaurant didn’t open until 11:00 AM when the owner finally arrived.
We were seated by 11:05 AM, but water was only served after we specifically asked for it. Despite knowing we had been waiting outside for 45 minutes, the owner casually mentioned that they had decided to open late, with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. I wasn’t expecting a grand apology—just a simple acknowledgment or a “thank you for waiting” would have gone a long way.
When it came time to pay, we were directed to the counter and told the total, but no itemized check was provided. It was unclear if a tip was included since the owner never asked for one. The lack of transparency left me questioning their practices.
I love supporting local businesses, but it’s hard to back a place that doesn’t value its customers or provide clarity in how they operate. For now, I don’t plan on returning.

I second the review that was made previously by another person. I asked for a regular pho thinking that I was ordering a small pho but without clarifying, she brought out a large pho. When asked she answered "you asked for a regular pho, you need to say small for a small." But at the same time, I also didn't say large. Regular does not equal large to me. Plus, I asked for extra lime and she charged me 3 dollars extra without my knowledge. So I ended up paying $18.50 for an order that I thought was $12.50. I really liked the place until this happened and now I feel kinda cheated.
You need to ask customers questions before charging them for things.
To the owner: I don't know who the lady is who is manning the counter (maybe she is the owner?) But regardless, if you have this many bad reviews about her bad service over a long period of time and nothing is changing, maybe you just don't care about your business at all.

We love pho factory! It's our go to Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The pho has a great flavor and always hits the spot. We usually get pho but other dishes we have had have been excellent too. (Bahn mi, chicken/pork and rice). The egg rolls are amazing. We used to split the two rolls but now we each get our own order...so good. Food comes out quickly and the staff is friendly.
Parking: Plenty of spots right out front.
Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly. Can make it work with rice and meatballs.

Have tried different pho places after moving to the Ashburn area and Pho Factory got my vote! Nothing fancy, just comfort food in a good flavorful bowl of pho. Will be back to try their other dishes.
