When I had a problem with my ECM espresso machine barely able to produce steam for frothing, I knew that I did no want to ship it back to Whole Latte Love for repair, and found Potomac Coffee. They diagnosed and solved my problem efficiently, with a clear repair estimate, and prompt service. It is now working perfectly.
It was definitely worth the trip from Maryland out towards Leesburg.

We own a restaurant in Washington DC and are using Potomac Coffee for almost 8 years. There product is superb, we love the TAC coffee for our filter coffees and Manuel for our specialty espresso drinks. A lot of our guests compliment our coffee and are asking for the brand and where they can purchase it. Besides having great products (we are also getting teas and Chai from Potomac Coffee) their customer service is outstanding, which is hard to find these days! No minimums, next day deliveries, they also lend you the espresso and drip brew machine if you purchase their product. The repair team is great as well, whenever we had an issue with a machine, it was resolved within 24 hours. I'm glad we found Potomac coffee, a small family owned company which we will continue to support. You should definitely check them out and give them a try!

I left the guy a voicemail three days ago and never heard back! Potomac coffee repaired my manual coffee machine. It took them almost three weeks to get the part. But keep in mind; This is the only company which could repair my machine two hundred miles around Washington!!!

Turns out that my Gaggia had a blocked valve. A part which can be purchased for 30 USD on Amazon. My bill for the cleaning of that valve was 140 USD. Plus 35 USD in advance for a “diagnostic fee”. Plus another 30 USD for delivery, which i was forced to pay, because i do not have time to attend the very tight opening hours Mon-Fri 8-3pm.Adding that i did kindly asked for a dropoff on the weekend, because of work during the week and the small-lipped answer “We dont work on weekends” i must constate that the overall experience was ok-ish. But nothing more.At least the Gaggia draws some water now again.The coffee, i was not offered to try at the shop and which i nevertheless ordered, was of course not delivered. Maybe its better this way.Would recommend to invest a little bit of time finding another provider.
