Great food and good beer. Service was good despite the crowd. Food is a little over priced for tacos. Chips were a little too oily which can be easily corrected. Service was good. Will definitely return.

We went here today to get dinner and we had a wonderful time! The food was amazing and the vibe was awesome! We also had the pleasure to meet the owner, Lamont, and he was also incredibly kind and helpful. We had a 10/10 experience and will definitely be back!

This is the best Mexican Restaurant we have been to in a very long time. The food was absolutely delicious, with special mention of the freshest and most flavorful salsa and chips made on this planet! Outside seating was clean and prompt with the best service from the time we walked up to the time we left. We are absolutely in love with this place and the owner, and plan on returning at every chance we get (from Manassas to Ashburn!)

Used to be our neighborhood go-to spot, was even shocked to see the low rating but I agree it’s a restaurant that has consistently gone downhill. Now on two occasions we have been overcharged for side items they are fully aware they do not give you, and received only half portions when you pay for full. Service is unapologetic, face-to-face, and no one picks up to phone to help. Service seems to be catered to the masses and not the quality it started on. Aside from that, the restaurant itself is often out of key ingredients required needed to complete the entree offered and kitchen quality control is minimal. There isn’t a competitive taco spot in BTC maybe that’s why they simply don’t care about the quality or service.

We have added this place to our list of NEVER GO TO AGAIN.

The free chips were very oily/greasy, so I only ate one. The salsa had good flavor.

My wife's empanadas were very dry. Super dry chicken inside and she could only eat them by dipping them in the salsa. My son's quesadilla had the dry chicken in it, but the melted cheese helped. The problem was that they put the pico on the plate next to the quesadilla without a barrier, so the juices of the pico just made the quesadilla soggy on the bottom, which really killed the taste and more so the texture. I got the El Jefe tacos. The meat looked grey like it had been boiled and when I picked up the taco, there was a pool of grease at the bottom of the taco holder and grease was just dripping off. I took one bite and all I could feel and taste was grease coating my throat and I had to give the tacos back to the waitress. I did not get anything else. My son said the water was the best there.

After sending my tacos back, a manager never came by to see what was going on. This place seems to be poorly run and the food was just horrible. Worst taco experience we've ever had, which is a shame because I was so looking forward to trying this place and hoping to finally find a good Tex-Mex place in this area.

My husband and I were excited to try this place, specifically the ceviche which had come recommended. The waitress informed us that they don’t have it (not sure if that was just for the day or permanently?), so we opted for the nachos instead. The chicken was super dry, and the black beans were so watery that besides the few chips that were on top, the rest of the chips were really soggy! The overall flavor was pretty bland too. Very disappointing!

I really wanted to like this place. We stopped in to get a meal before our movie around 2:30 pm. We were seated outside in the beautiful weather. Tried to order margaritas but the server said we could not order cocktails until 3pm bc that’s when the bartender came in. So I tried to order a mocktail made with lemonade but they were out of lemonade. My husband tried to order the fish tacos but they were out. The poor server then gave us a rundown on what was sold out on the menu. Hubby wanted to leave but we would not have time to get a bite anywhere else bc our movie started just after 3pm. I ordered the steak tacos and elote. They were ok, I asked for extra salsa from the complimentary chips and salsa and that definitely helped improve the tacos. They had one server helping all the tables and she was working hard, too hard . The owner of this place really needs to stop being cheap and hire more help. And the owner needs to plan better with their food supplies. It’s Memorial Day weekend so more ppl will be out and about. Do better.

What a disappointment!!! There’s a reason why this place has so many 1 stars! If you are not interested in catering to customers, why stay open?

We visited Rebel Taco after a movie at the Regal theater opposite this restaurant. Almost everything we were trying to order from the menu, we got told they were out of it! The waitress had brought some chips and salsa. When asked for a bit more salsa she again told us they were out of it!!! How do you run a place being out of everything beats me!?

In hindsight we should’ve left. The order of fajitas were good enough. Probably cz we were hungry! Never going back and I hope to see a new customer caring restaurant open up in its place since this is a prime location and could do quite well!

This place started out great, good food, great house made chips, terrific cocktails and smiling service. Not sure if management or ownership changed but over the last year it’s completely tanked. Flavorless meats, increased costs and decreased portions, watered down cocktails - absolutely awful margaritas. So many better options out there.

This place could get four stars by simply improving the service. The QR codes and server personnel are hurting them. The atmosphere is good. The food is good, not great though. This place has potential if they can get out of their own way. Like all things in the Brambleton Town Center, they are overpriced for what you get. The bar area has good vibes.

Going out of business or just badly in need of management? The website hasn’t been paid for, the QR code menu bill is past due, the TV is streaming youtube or stuck on HDMI1 waiting for input. The employees seemed to be waiting for input as well as they were just standing in groups of 2 or 3 chatting with each other instead of doing anything useful- and there was so much to do; like give us napkins or plates, offer more chips and salsa, maybe make good food. Good the food wasn’t- I had eaten here before and would have called some dishes good, but this was all mediocre. The chicken lacked flavor- try spices and really grilling it before throwing it into the slightly undercooked tortilla. Something is nearing the end, I hope it’s management, because this place could be great.

We came as a group from a business across the street. We didn’t even make it to ordering food. We were not greeted but scolded for moving one of the outside high tops next to the other about 6 inches away.
We were talked down to and made to feel completely unwelcome. A quote from the server was “I didn’t know that’s how restaurants work. But whatever.” And he walked away. When he came back with menus, he continued to scold us and just be nasty. I asked if he wanted us to leave and he shrugged his shoulders. So we left.
The group we came with all work in the service industry so we aren’t clueless. And we didn’t pick up a table and chairs to move them all around. We literally scooted one table closer to the one next to it. This IS the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant in my life. So we nor anyone we know will ever be back.

Good food & service. Chips smelled a bit bad but the food ordered was very delicious.
