Ordered a custom burger and a classic Chicago dog.
The bread in both was meh. Texas toast wasn't, it was just thick cut white bread. The meat was cooked properly but lacked seasoning. The onions weren't caramelized enough. Pickles on both were excellent. I'll continue my search for a good cheeseburger in the DMV.

Came in about 15 minutes before closing, two male workers fled the scene but a female team member walked right up and was happy to help me. She was polite and answered my questions when ordering. Super helpful, will return if service like hers continues

I’m not sure why it took me years to finally try The Burger Shack—especially since it’s only 5 minutes from my house! One day, my friend was craving a burger and I was short on time between work, so I decided to give this place a shot for takeout.
And honestly? I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Pickup was quick and easy, which made the whole experience even better. For a casual, no-fuss burger craving, this place definitely delivers.
I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in the mood for a solid burger close to home!

Great food, just not many people that dine in it seems. Both times I’ve been it’s been empty. Most people order and pick up the food. Tastes fantastic though - can’t complain too much!

Burger Shack is THE BEST burger joint in Ashburn - not even close. Hand made burgers, super fresh, tons of toppings...incredible. My family and I have been coming here for years and will continue to eat there forever. The owner, Eddie, is a great man. Always there, always engaging with his customers. Soft spoken, and prioritizes customer service. If there were an option for more than 5 stars I would have made that my selection!

I am a chili cheese fries connoisseur. Growing up in Cali we had some bomb chili cheese fries at Michael's in Irwindale.
We moved to Oklahoma and now I chase that childhood satisfaction. But I found it's hard to find anything that compares.
I saw a picture of the chili cheese fries at this location and had to stop in and try em. The chili and the cheese is pretty good. But the fries lack. They tasted like they were reheated. So that made the whole dish unpleasant. Sad. Paid almost $10 for a big to-go plate of just chili cheese fries.

Unfortunately, it was not a good experience for our first time here. We came at 9:43PM Est. and was told we could come in. We get to the register to place and order, and the guy in charge working the frontline told us we can order, but we would have to take our order to go. I asked them what time they closed, and he said 10:00PM. I said what about the lobby and he said 10:00PM. I said we can't stay and eat? He said by the time we make your food and get it to you, it will be close to 10PM, and that's why you have to take your food. It's sad because we had 7 people with us, and we were hungry and actually drove an hour out of our way to eat here. We did not eat here, but we took our business else where. 😞
