Ordered a custom burger and a classic Chicago dog.

The bread in both was meh. Texas toast wasn't, it was just thick cut white bread. The meat was cooked properly but lacked seasoning. The onions weren't caramelized enough. Pickles on both were excellent. I'll continue my search for a good cheeseburger in the DMV.

Came in about 15 minutes before closing, two male workers fled the scene but a female team member walked right up and was happy to help me. She was polite and answered my questions when ordering. Super helpful, will return if service like hers continues

I’m not sure why it took me years to finally try The Burger Shack—especially since it’s only 5 minutes from my house! One day, my friend was craving a burger and I was short on time between work, so I decided to give this place a shot for takeout.

And honestly? I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Pickup was quick and easy, which made the whole experience even better. For a casual, no-fuss burger craving, this place...
