They do not fall into the classic "add lots of sugar" that some GF bakeries do. The pastries were fine and there is lots of love and care that appear to go into the food. Staff was excellent.

When we first got there, I said , “Thisnis our first time and we’re excited!” Staff was very nice.Ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and a few pastries, tipped $10, waited over 30 minutes. Got home, found out they didn’t put the vegan bacon on. Drove back - they said sorry, “we forgot to tell you we were out.” They offered to refund the sandwiches then recharge me for the sandwiches without bacon. I asked for the full refund instead—I would rather not have the sandwiches and tip as I spent over an hour driving back and forth for bad service. I had to go back in, again, to get the $10 tip refunded.

Hands-down the best gluten-free bakery in northern Virginia. Everyone that works here is so kind. There isn't really anywhere to sit and enjoy your treats so you have to take everything to go. We will never stop coming!

OMG. The chocolate on chocolate cupcake is to die for. I also got a 8" round cake for my gluten free guests for my wedding. They will love it. So good!

The baked goods here are delicious but everything seems pretty small. I ordered an apple fritter, which was supposed to be "XL" according to their menu, but it was about the size of a donut from any other place. It came out hot and fresh and was delicious. It did take about 15 minutes, however, which seems like a lot for there only being three customers, including myself.

After sweetz bakery shut down we found this bakery that can accommodate my spouse's gluten free and dairy free needs. They are relatively moderately priced and the cup cakes we got were decent but not on the same level as what sweetz bakery had. Although their location isn't the most convenient, we shall return to try their cake and other offerings.

Loved this bakery. The French toast donuts were the best item for us. The pop tarts were great but we may have had a bit too much sugar by getting the cinnamon sugar and chocolate pop tarts. Still, great display and flavor was spot on. Blueberry lemon vegan gluten free cakes are rare to find out in the wild so it's aces in my book. Greeted as we walked in, very helpful and heated up each item that needed it. Really great bakery with vegan and gluten free options.

I have a dairy allergy, but can eat gluten. This business is certified gluten-free and peanut-free and they will not allow you to bring in outside food or drink. Because of my own issues, I always appreciate allergen-free bakeries and want to support them.I think if you have celiac’s disease and can’t have gluten, that you would really appreciate and enjoy this place. For me, there is a distinct texture that these gluten-free baked goods have that I don’t love (but maybe if it was the only alternative for sweets, I wouldn’t mind). The flavors weren’t really there for me. Nothing I tried tasted bad, but nothing was very good either. For the cupcakes, the vanilla frosting was super sweet—the chocolate was better. A lot of the items don’t taste bad, but taste like they’re missing something-flavor wise. I think I wouldn’t mind or notice the texture difference if the flavors were better.Again, this is coming from someone who can tolerate gluten and has never done gluten-free baking. So, I’m not sure if it’s just an artifact of the ingredients they have to use or not. The place was clean, opened a few minutes earlier as us and another car waited outside, and the staff were helpful. I also thought the prices were not bad at all, especially with the restrictions. The only thing that was slightly maddening was that they advertise all these allergens they don’t have—including mollusks and fish—but then use dairy in things(???). I found this super odd. It also says vegan on the building and with all the no allergen signs, I assumed I was safe. I started ordering before my boyfriend looked around, saw something, and warned me there could be things with dairy in them and that I’d need to double check. To sum up, if you have celiac’s disease, this place is totally for you. If you can eat gluten, there are better options out there (like Midnight Cookie, Out of the Bubble Bakery, and others).Updating with specific items:Chocolate cake donut with chocolate frosting: This was actually really good. I would totally eat this again.Chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting: cake was good--has the texture mentioned above, but the frosting was sweetChocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting: cake was good--has the texture mentioned above, frosting was too sweet--For both cupcakes, I scraped most of the frosting off and ate the cakeCinnamon roll: decent, but just really missing something--I ate about a third from the center out and then just didn't want to finish itCinnamon pop tart: Really did not care for this item--pretty dry and lacking in flavorDietary restrictions: Gluten-free certified

Gluten free oasis, tons of dairy free and vegan options, allergies are taken super serious and all the treats are super yummy and moist. My lil sis even said things tasted like "normal" food and the texture was the same :)Super cautious of allergies and take them very seriously, the super amazing cashier double checked that my sister and I didn't have egg allergies and everything before making our waffles. Everything is clearly labeled with ingredients. One of the safest places I've ever felt. They don't allow outside food and drink in to keep everyone safe and that means the world to this allergy family ?Vegetarian options: Tons of veggie and vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Super cautious of allergies and take them very seriously, the super amazing cashier double checked that my sister and I didn't have egg allergies and everything before making our waffles. Super friendly establishment with wonderful desserts! Most options are vegan, and they will help you identify which ones to avoid. I still need to try their pizza!
