The Yard Milkshake Bar

I've been twice and came away a little disappointed the first time and now the second visit, I'm really saddened. The first time they had no pint jars. Today, second visit they charged us full price for our order and then tell us they have no brownies (they offered a cookie substitute) , no whipped cream (they offered an alternate topping of our choice) AND no jars again. For $47 (one milkshake and three bowls), you're better off going someplace else.

Place has taken a complete nose dive ever since they changed ice cream suppliers. I've given them multiple chances since then and every visit seems worse than the last. Over it, won't be coming back.

Wow this place has gone downhill quick. Waited in line for 20 minutes tonight for them to tell me they were out of whip-cream. Ask about the November Special Shake (𝑃𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑢𝑡 𝐵𝑢𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑃𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛) and the cashier had no idea what I was talking about even though it was on the display. While waiting in line I saw what looked like multiple unhappy employees making some of the saddest looking milkshakes I've ever seen. At least 1 of them got sent back because it was was basically just liquid. We ended up going elsewhere.

$15 for the exact definition of “mid”. I get a milkshake from Chick Fil A for a lot less and enjoy just as much. Cookie was store bought and not worth the calories. Ice cream was fine, def large portion size. But mostly a visual treat with a lackluster taste.

I have been a frequent customer here at The Yard as I have came here every year. When I first discovered this place in 2021, I absolutely loved their milkshakes. But the last time I came here recently this month, the quality of their shakes kind of dropped. It didn’t feel like a cold shake but it kind of felt a bit warm, and the ice cream just felt off. I like this place and will still come if I get the chance, but I just hope their quality goes back to how it was in 2021.

Arrived at 1 with 4 kids and saw a sign at the door that they open at 2. I confirmed on Google Maps that 2 PM is when they open. So we walked around for an hour and came back at 2 PM only to find that the sign was replaced by another sign (Fall Hours) showing that they will open at 3 PM. On Google Maps, it still shows 2 PM. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but THIS pissed me off.

Visited this shop for the first time on 10/5. I arrived in the evening and there was only one guy working. The line was almost out the door and he was talking orders while also trying to prepare orders. Despite people being rude and getting upset Sebastian, remained friendly and was truly doing his best. A family began to harass him over how long he was taking and he still remained friendly and apologetic. 5 stars for Sebastian and his good attitude and positivity in a tough situation!

Nice, friendly and helpful staff. She even offered us samples. Ice cream are tasty. We tried half a pint of strawberry cheesecake and Pecan pralines n cream ice creams for $6. Not expensive.

Delicious ice cream, milkshakes and cookie dough! A huge variety of flavors and combinations to choose from. Some indoor seating and a jar wash for people bringing home novelty jars.

The staff were rude and laughed at one of our friends when they asked questions. I won't be returning to the place again.

Stops serving milkshakes at 9PM. Got in at 9:02 PM and was turned away. Go to Ted's Bulletin instead.

tried this place. best ice cream ive ever had. tried ben & jerrys while out of town. was mid. i missed my goat. cookies n cream so good i think i have diabetes now.

Poor quality, poor service, some of the worst ice cream i have ever had for the price, better of going somewhere else

Sadly I came in with the full intention of getting a brownie bliss only to find out they aren't doing any specialties today. Unfortunately I tried calling ahead to check an I was really disappointed when I was told no. Workers looked confused and like they didn't want to be there. First experience was the absolute worst.
