The food was not as good this time as it has been previously. I don't know if that's a one-off or the beginning of something which is not going to be good for the clientele. Our server and the manager were spectacular and if the food could have been half as good as they were, I'd be giving this place four stars for food instead of three

We walked in at about 3:40 pm and the hostess was friendly and sat us immediately. My wife and I were given menus that were gross. They were covered in dried food, they were sticky, and just looked disgusting. The floor had chips and other food all under the table and there were multiple tables that weren't bussed. We dropped our menus on the table and walked out. Never going back. It felt like the Health Department needed to inspect the place.

I have been going to this restaurant for four years and every year the food quality is getting worse and worse. From the ceviche, tortilla soup and fajitas the amount of salt in the dishes is disgusting. I really hope they improve food quality. Also seams like they are skimping on the alcohol in the margs. Thats all.

Great drinks, great chips and salsa, and great meals. The atmosphere is a nice combination of lively but not overly loud or annoying. Sitting at the bar is a great spot here.

This restaurant used to be very good. It was clean, the tortillas were delicious and they also gave a portion that depended on what you ate.
Over 100 dollars for two plates of food that was poor in everything. All tables dirty. The door glass is horrible! Super dirty and full of grease. The drinks didn't have any alcohol and the waitress didn't even look around. The tortillas looked like pancakes!! Most of these restaurants have dropped a lot in quality. The food doesn't taste like anything, very tough meat

Pretty disgusting!
As I sat down at my table outside, I noticed there was white bird poop on my chair. So i thought I'll just switch one of my other chairs and sit in a clean one. Problem is all of the chairs I had were covered with bird poop. So I looked around to find a clean chair that I could sit on and sadly all of the chairs had white bird poop on them. There was not a chair spared. I went in the afternoon no one was there at least no one was sitting outside. I mentioned the problem to the hostess who sat me. She looked angrily at me and got a bottle of cleaner and then started wiping down my chair but it was still dirty with poop.
So if you ever go there make sure to look at the chair that you're going to sit in because at least speaking for myself I don't want bird poop on my body or clothing.
Her attitude was quite bad and I was surprised because it just kind of made the experience worse. Someone came and gave me chips and salsa plus water and the glass was covered in lipstick and food particles. It seems they couldn't do anything right and it also seems that the management is quite bad at keeping the restaurant clean.
There are a lot of little birds and it would probably be a good idea to spray down the chairs before each shift. I had to basically clean my own chair as well as I could. I was really hungry and I didn't feel like going to another restaurant. It's just sheer laziness upon the management and staff.

Expensive Restaurant
Wow - it’s been a while since I’ve been here and it has gone downhill which is disappointing.
Had a reservation for my bday dinner and missed it by 16 minutes. Was so excited to get the chocolate piñata all week and surprise my kids.
We were late due to weather related issues and arrived at 6:31 pm for our 6:15 pm reservation. Our table was given away which is understandable (one min past the 15 min grace period) and told we had an hour wait.
We stayed the course, had subpar service for drinks and appetizers, and over an hour later, still were not seated.
I’d understand the wait of tables were empty or there was a line out the door.
But neither were apparent.
Very disappointed.
Still didn’t get a table 75 mins later.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The host was incredibly rude and unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. Despite the restaurant having plenty of available tables both inside and outside, the host made it seem like seating us was a huge inconvenience. It really set a negative tone for the entire visit. Customer service is key, and unfortunately, this place failed to deliver

Uncle Julio’s used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant but lately the changes that have been made is turning me away. They changed the table side guacamole to a smaller bowl, they got cheap with the take home boxes, and the experience doesn’t have the same Mexican atmosphere. I was there for Cinco da Mayo and they didn’t even play any Mexican music. Please go back to the way things were 3 to 5 years ago.

We usually have an excellent experience but this time around the food was cold and the service was severely lacking. Had to ask our server more than a few times for things she should have been already taking care of. Used to be my favorite place to go for Mexican food but not so anymore. Very disappointed!

This was a sub par experience. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and we wanted to be sit at their patio but the hostess told us they were understaffed and we had to sit inside where they had the AC on at what felt like 60 degrees. There were plenty of open tables outside and several groups already sitting outside being served, and at least one group was allowed to sit outside while we were eating. They were clearly understaffed as multiple tables were left uncleared for 10+ minutes, but our server was also serving the tables outside, so we could have easily sat outside.
As for the food… it’s mediocre. They made a mistake on my order, and tried to overcharge me for it later when the bill came. The rice was lukewarm and undercooked. The enchiladas weren’t bad but also nothing special. My son thought his Baja tacos were good and the salsa and chips were good as well (salsa was mild in case you were hoping for some heat, but had a good flavor).
I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
