Service was well below average from the time my family and I entered. The food was not up expectations. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.

Can’t believe they discontinued the mushroom tacos - my friends and I used to come here just for those! Really disappointed to see them missing from the new menu. I hope they bring them back soon, especially since it was the only solid vegetarian option available.

This place used to be so good and my go to Mexican restaurant. Over the couple years it just gradually keeps getting worse and worse. Tonight was the worst food I have ever had out. Fajita meat was about 2” thick and cold. The rice and beans weren’t cooked all the way and cold as well. I will never eat here again.

Our entire experience was on the lower end of mediocre. The waiter never gave us napkins and silverware with our chips, salsa and drinks. I had to go to the mens room to get a few paper towels. On my way back, I took 2 sets of silverware from an empty table. The drinks were decent, but when we ordered round 2, he forgot my fiancée's. When our fajitas arrived, they weren't sizzling in the plate, but were Luke warm. Over all, not the worst place that we have eaten, but very close and we definitely won't be back.

This use to be my favorite Tex Mex place but it has slipped. Still good but used to be great.

We went here with the whole family for my brother's birthday and I just moved here from Texas and the food was actually not great. What kind of really small portion of fajitas for the money I was surprised. And the food just wasn't very flavorful there was really not any spice to anything. It just seems like corporate Northeastern us Mexican food. But the staff was great and the atmosphere is good and it certainly good enough for a birthday party when you have a lot of people with different tastes. I will say this I have a 91 year old dad who has never really been interested in eating Foods he's not familiar with. We even discussed on the way there how he wasn't interested in trying Mexican food. But we got him the chicken with vegetables. They came out with this giant chicken breast and it was very good and he doesn't eat much he ate the whole thing. So it was great for my dad because when we looked online it said they had ribs and we thought he would get those but they don't actually have those. And there wasn't like a burger option. So that was great

No manager working 2 hours before close is crazy. Shoutout to Moses our server for being professional and helpful during the power outage. There really needs to be a way to pay in these kind of situations without cash.
Horrible reception!!
I used to love this restaurant, but my last visit was really disappointing. There was no host, and we had to wait about 10 minutes before anyone seated us. The waitress was super busy, and the customer service just wasn’t the same as before. I ordered a quesadilla that was really greasy and had no flavor.
I hope they can improve because this used to be one of my favorite places.

Sat at the bar for 20 minutes, was not greeted, and completely ignored, so I left. Service here has gone completely downhill. Avoid going here.

Terrible service, terribly made dinner, apps and drinks. Wait staff did not care.
Camilla was amazing! She went above and beyond when our Uber eats order was messed up! 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!

Very disappointed as this is my second time in a row coming and discovering the tortilla machine broken. My fajitas had store bought tortillas substituted and the rice was fridge cold.

Uncle Julio’s at One Loudoun is a fantastic spot with a lively atmosphere and great music that makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food and drinks are consistently excellent, and the staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. My personal favorites are the Honey Chipotle Salmon and the Crab & Shrimp Enchiladas — both absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun vibe and outstanding Mexican cuisine.
