My husband and I wanted to try something a little different and we heard about this spot from a relative. When we walked in there was some pleasant music playing. The atmosphere was nice and we were greeted it with a smile. We ordered the sampler which turned out to be delicious. The service was on point and the drinks were great. The chef came out to introduce himself and described the Jamaican/Peruvian vibe that inspired some of his recipes. We will be returning.

Celebrated my birthday at this amazing restaurant my friend took me to. The food is a unique blend of Jamaican and Peruvian, with creative flavors you won’t find anywhere else. The owner and staff made it extra special with birthday decorations, a taste of the finest Jamaican rum, and even birthday cake—all complimentary. A warm, welcoming place and a great choice for any celebration. Highly recommend!

Xaymaca is great!! I've not experienced Jamaican and Peruvian fused cuisine before, but every dish we had was fabulous. We sat on the patio on a beautiful evening and we were treated to fantastic food and friendly and attentive service. We started with the beef and chicken curry patties (were similar to empanadas) and seafood skewers as apps. Our party of 4 rated these as excellent - the spices were great and the food presentation was A+! My husband and I split a whole jerk chicken and it was sooooo good. Well spiced and juicy. Our sides included coleslaw with mango, plantains (so good!), jerk fries, and rice/beans. You cannot go wrong with this dish. It's delicious and they are generous with everything. We left with leftovers for lunch.
The inside seating looked very nice - though we opted for the patio and that was nice too. Prices are reasonable, the food is fantastic, and the service is good.

Loved their ceviche- very chunky. Purplish due to beat, which was very new and interesting.
Chicken skewers- loved the grilled veggies, potato and mexican corns.
Ribs- also amazing. Very tender. Great coleslaw and fries as well.

I brought my dad here for his birthday. From making the reservation to paying the bill the service was phenomenal. The food is amazing. The best of both worlds with Jamaican and Peruvian! We got the oxtail stew which was so good!

Best chicken I’ve had in the area hands down. The only rivals I’ve had are Peri Peri in Lisbon and Peruvian in Cuzco. The spices are just so tasty and totally cover the chicken to create delicious bites of well-seasoned jerk chicken. The sauces and sides the whole chicken came with were amazing too. I especially loved their sweet plantains and yuca fries — so delicious!

We enjoyed the food here and it passed my Wife's approval which is a pretty high bar. Service was great and both the owner and chef came out to talk which was appreciated. Chef knew some sign language from Peru and we compared how much it was different than American sign language as my wife is deaf. While the Ceviche was good I'd suggest putting a traditional Peruvian ceviche on the menu as that is acknowledged by Unesco as a cultural dish and ridiculously good. Realize it's a fusion restaurant but some things you can't mix. Also, if you have a Peru in your restaurant name you have to have a Pisco Sour. Appreciate the food and conversation.
