Food is very good.But Soda 4.25 $
Extra sauce 1.5$ which is usually free was unfair. Not sure why tax was 2.5$ for 20$ meal.

Found this place by accident, and a lucky accident for me. Large menu, terrific service, and the food was great. Just assume everything comes with cilantro and ask them to hold it if you don't like it.

The cuisine is authentic and we really enjoyed the food. We were served in about 10 minutes, though it was after 7pm. The staff was very friendly. I gave the atmosphere 4 ⭐ only because it was a bit noisy as it is a family restaurant. The menu is reasonably priced and the portions were generous.

Unfortunately, over our past three visits we’ve noted a decline in the quality of the food and a reduction in the portion size. Last night I had carne asada tacos which were bland and dry. About the only thing that met our expectations lately has been the margaritas and the refried beans. To make matters worse, the restaurant drew a hard line during our last visit on only offering fountain drink (soft drinks) as included with the kids meal. In the past, we were always given the option to substitute milk or juice for our kids. I’m sorry, but my 2.5 and 5 year old don’t drink soda and this hard line is a fly in the face of their tagline of “Family friendly Mexican restaurant”. I think we will be switching back to El Azteca.

Introducing your newest 5-star: Casa Herradura!

In a town where ethnic authenticity is far and few in between, Herradura does not disappoint.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a smile and an aroma of proteins, spices, and spirits that will let you know you’ve made the right choice.

Dinner portions are abundant, lunch portions will give you the itis, and the happy hour is among the best in the city (seriously, plan to call an Uber).

This restaurant knows its audience and does a fine job at ensuring not only satisfaction but comfort as well.

5/5 (My dog bullies me for any leftovers)!

This used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant. Today we ordered our usual Burrito Gordo. The price and the amount of rice inside has increased however the amount of meat and shrimp has noticeably decreased. The house salsa had changed too, it was like something out of a jar that had been watered down. Time to find a new favorite Mexican restaurant.

My daughter and I ordered lunch here. First, the ladies restroom had no toilet paper, yikes! Then we ordered. She got the beef nachos, and I ordered the beef taco lunch special. I was surprised to find that the tacos are not fried in house but rather come in pre-made shells. Additionally, I thought they would be shredded beef, but they turned out to be ground beef. I expressed my surprise and disappointment, and was simply told this is the only beef they make. We tried our meals only to realize that the groundbeef was spongy in texture and tasted completely unseasoned. The waiter returned to our table, having changed out of his uniform, to ask how our food was. I told him that neither of us wanted to eat it because the meat was so unseasoned and that we were really disappointed. He fetched us a $24 check without so much as offering any way to rectify the issue.

The food was excellent it was my daughter's birthday and as a single mother I thought I had enough money. But I looked at my bank account and got 2 funds lowering my money down to 30 dollars. The bill costed 45 unlike some people they would walk out and not pay,I immediately noticed my server which was Antonio.I told him the situation and he called over the female manager. We talked to her we told her the situation also and could call in the bill the next day.She said you have to give me the 30 dollars because she has to write the report to her manager,On how much money she got that day.But I told her I couldn't pay it because we were going down to Williamsburg and would need to call payment tomorrow. She called over another server told hum the situation and Johan said he would pay it for us because it was my daughter's birthday. We thanked him for the gesture and client blessings and abundance. When the manager walked away she was talking about me infront of my daughterb she was talking crap about me to a different server.Thankfully my daughter called it out after we had went to the bathroom. The manager when she talking crap my daughter said her and the other server kept shaking their head at her and me.The reason mainly I couldn't pay the bill is because we were going to Williamsburg an didn't feel safe without any money.Blessings and abundance to Antonio our server and Same for Johan. We love the experience but the disrespect from that manager was so incredibly disrespectful. For all reading this have a great day blessing to all and be safe out there its a craze world.

If you love bland food soaked in grease then this is your place! The fajitas I ordered were swimming in oil and had very little spice of any kind, making the dish very uninteresting. There are other Mexican places in town that are so much better! Service and ambiance were great tho. They just need more flavor to their dishes.
