Really good food. Really average service. We’ve also been 25 times in the last year and a half and they always act like they’ve never met us before.. it would be nice to be treated a little more like regulars. We have started going to Casa Herradura instead due to service.
This place is not immediately obvious, but well worth looking for. The food is delicious and the service is great. They have the expected Tex-Mex items, but the real fun starts with their traditional Mexican food. I wasn't familiar with real gorditas and sopes, but I'm glad I am now. Their variety of hot sauces make everything even better! We go back often; it's well worth it.
I ended up getting a carne(steak) asada taco, pollo(chicken) asado taco, and the burrito Los Altos. The food was amazing, house made tortillas and all the salsas at the salsa bar were great! I will be back more times than I would like to admit they care about the food they put out and it shows!
