Nice place! Cool atmosphere. My hubby's sandwich was delicious! My burger patty was a little dry though. The only choices were pink and no pink. There needs to be something in the middle.

I review thousands of restaurants all over the country but this place out of all I've ever been to deserves a "James Beard Award" Chef Jeremy puts together fresh local ingredients and unique flavor combinations that are truly innovative. Add in the attached wine and local craft beer store, the reasonable food prices and great friendly staff this place is a true winner.

The food was excellent the service was great. Only thing I wish they had steak on the menu. Nothing better than a grass fed locally raised steak.

I have a favorite salad here and there is a good selection of beers. My wife doesn't dig salad and doesn't always want a sandwich so I really wish they would add a couple of entrees here and there vs "special hot dogs" or pizza. It's a small town. It would be received with open arms. Service is hit or miss. Shop has good reasonably priced wine.

Obnoxious, overbearing, phony waitress who failed to explain numerous items unavailable on a Tuesday night. We weren’t informed of some of the items until we attempted to place our orders. Our dinner (containing a number of substituted items, was fair. The ceiling over the “open” kitchen was filthy. The ceiling in the bathroom (located in a hallway outside of the restaurant) was completely discolored from some sort of leakage. Bathroom walls were dirty. The “market” is a liquor store.

Always a pleasure eating here or just picking up! The staff, wine selection & ambiance are by far the best Ashland has to offer!

This food is some of the best food I have ever had. The grilled cornbread is absolutely fantastic, the hot dogs are amazing, the potato salad tastes exactly how it should. The entire place is a cute little mom and pop place that just feels very old school, it feels very peaceful. Everybody in there is extremely welcoming and it definitely feels like a family business. If I could I would 100% give 10 stars.

A little part of what makes Ashland, Ashland. Locally sourced food when available, made to order. While the burger ranks in the top 3, stiff competition with other locally sourced restaurants in Virginia. It's probably the best in Ashland, narrowly beating out the fried green tomato burger from Jakes Place. The potato salad of all things is what throws down the gauntlet here. Not normally one for red potatoes or white salad, I was skeptical at first. But this beats out any and all potato salad. Between the friendly and personable staff, fair prices, amazing food, and decent choices on local beer this place definitely ranks up there.Parking: LotsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
