Great little bistroish eatery with attached store that sells craft beers, wine, local goods and some specialty charcuterie stuffs.
Restaurant has delicious food and great specials that vary with the season. They also make good use of a lit of local artisinal products.

We used to come to the Caboose regularly for the classic Caboose burger. It was really simple (Gouda mayo pickles) but always done perfectly. Such a staple and really sad that it’s not on the menu anymore. Please bring it back! This was our favorite thing to order. We celebrated so many date nights, career milestones, birthdays, and other things and we haven’t been feeling like coming since it was taken off the menu. 😢😢😢
One of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had: delicious mushrooms—and I love the way they did the cheese….the potato salad was great- love the horseradish! Our server was so good-so friendly and fast(Katie is her name).
Next time I’m going through Ashland, we are eating here…
