Worst customer service ever! The waitress wouldn’t even crack a smile or address our needs. She spent more time engaging with other customers on what to order and completely brushed us off, when asking for advice/preference. She served other tables in a much nicer tone but was rude to us and wouldn’t even take our orders. We had to step out because we were clearly being ignored/avoided. We felt discriminated!!!!! Would never come back or spend a PENNY!!!!!!!

My name is Minna Abdalla, and I am a former server and hostess at Hook & Reel Seafood Restaurant. I strongly advise against eating there due to the severe health and safety violations I witnessed. The restaurant is extremely dirty, with live mice, dead mice, and cockroaches everywhere-even in the food and on the tables. The kitchen staff does not wear gloves or hairnets, and I saw food being reused that customers didn't pick up. They are incredibly cheap, even going so far as to take food from the trash and reuse it.

They also never clean properly. Dishes and utensils are only rinsed, leaving food residue on cups, spoons, and plates that are then served to customers. There were also bugs in the alcohol being served. Additionally, they serve food to customers even when the freezer has been broken for days, putting people's health at risk.

The management is unprofessional and treats workers poorly, often overworking them without providing breaks. I also saw minors being allowed to serve alcohol, which is not only unethical but also illegal.

I believe customers deserve to know about these conditions, and I hope this encourages the restaurant to address these serious issues to ensure a safer environment for everyone.

I’m commenting on what I ordered via delivery. The Shell Shocker was very good. It was an a good sized portion that matched its price point and it was seasoned well.
I found 2 things disappointing: You pay extra to have potatoes and corn added to a boil and the serving of rice that you pay for is small.

“Absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant! The so-called manager, Steve, was beyond rude. After we called to confirm they were open, he answered in a condescending way. When we arrived, they were giving toys as gifts, and one of my friends took one. Instead of addressing any issue politely, Steve stormed over, demanded the toy back, and told us to leave if we didn’t like it. To make matters worse, he took the food off our table after it was served! We left immediately. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Never coming back.”

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this location on Christmas Day. The manager, Steve, was exceptionally rude from the moment we called to confirm if they were open. Once there, a misunderstanding about a toy given to customers turned into a hostile encounter. Steve rudely demanded the toy back and even removed the food from our table after we had been served. Despite an apology from another staff member, the damage was done, and we left feeling disrespected and discriminated against. This behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial position. I do not recommend this location to anyone looking for respectful customer service.”

This site is not very family friendly. I was asked to move to a separate area of the restaurant as I was with my kids. We had just sat down and someone one of the workers perceived my kids as being a distraction to the other guests. There were only two maybe three other tables being serviced at the time and I’m positive nobody said anything about my kids. Very disappointed with the service.

Thomas was great today on my solo date! Give him a raise

Thomas’ service was amazing!! The food was so good, but I genuinely do think that even if it wasn’t he would’ve gone above and beyond to make sure it was! I just got off of a long shift and was debating even going out to eat, rather than eating at home, and I am glad to say I don’t regret it!!

I always order through doordash and never visit the establishment. It is really a hit or miss with this place. I ordered two weeks ago a mini boil and it wasn't good. I really thought I was going to get sick from eating the food so I had to toss it out. The food seems like it was cooked in some very old season which made the food extremely gross. I had the half pounds of snow crab legs and there were only four little legs on the crab. I had also ordered a month before that and the potatoes were not cooked at all it seems like they were probably busy and rushed my order. The majority of my meals has been good with them which is why I keep ordering from them. It just seems like during their busy time the food is not the best.

Food was great but the service could’ve been a lot better. Host was really helpful but did not seem like they wanted to be there. I tried to sit in a booth seat while i was waiting for my order but was escorted to sit at the front by another employee. Would love to come here again but that experience really put a bad taste in my mouth.

This a great place for food and atmosphere. Especially since the TGIF has closed.

Parking: It is a large strip mall parking lot.

My experience at this location was awesome .. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The manager Stevon is great and the bartender Dauris drink was great as well.
