Somewhat torn about posting this review because it’s truly a hidden gem! We stopped in for happy hour and the prices are insanely low especially for the quality of the food. Great spot with great cocktails and beer selection. Thanks Tristan!
Pretty good crawfish boil-type restaurant. Tasty food, good-sized portions, but expect to get a little messy. Especially if eating crawfish. ?

Ordered via delivery. Perhaps indoor dining is better. My order was too greasy and salty. Didn't taste or look fresh. Not a good seafood option. Would not order again.

Was extremely disappointed with our experience here last night. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes where no one came up to us even after making direct eye contact with the waitress. We finally talked to the bartender who was nice enough to take our table on. We ordered two boils and two cups of clam chowder to eat. All the food came out at once instead of bringing the soups out first. The boils were a little cold, not mixed at all, and seasoning was not very good. Was missing something very simple such as garlic. We got waters about an hour after sitting down despite asking for them multiple times. The bartender had to explain to the host that they were understaffed and that she couldn't keep seating people when there was no one to help them. The bartender was very nice and tried his best to make it a better experience for us but he had so much going on that a drink I ordered was forgotten. All in all, it was a mess and management needs to get involved and staff the restaurant, train them, and work on communication between the staff. Won't be back to this location as their competition, Crafty Crab, is much better.

I get the Shrimp Po Boy at least once a month. It is the best Shrimp Po Boy I've ever eaten. The sweet potato fries are always crispy. Ask for extra Po Boy sauce on the side.

I always get catfish sliders and they are always fresh and good. They also have reasonable prices.Parking: This place is located in a shopping center, but I’ve never had to park far away.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly.
We always come to hook and reel as it is our go to place for seafood. We always get great service and the food is excellent. We had an amazing waitress named Kat who took great care of us. She was super attentive, friendly and made sure all our orders came out in a timely manner. She was awesome!! We also had great interaction with Steve who was very personable and checked in on us from time to time to make sure everything was to our liking. If you love seafood and great service come here and ask for Kat and Steve. You won’t be disappointed!Parking: Plenty of parking is available so no worries there.Kid-friendliness: This place is a great family restaurant. They have a wide ariety of food for kids to choose from.

Whatever you do DON'T order the Crab Roll.My partner and I had dinner from Hook & Reel. She had fried shrimp and fries, I had the Crab Roll, and we shared a soup.The shrimp were quite good, the fries better than many, and the soup so-so but not bad at all.The crab roll though: terrible! Truly terrible. The sandwich was almost entirely lettuce and air with a modest amount of stringy, dessicated, and flavorless strands of probably cartilage. Total waste of money and calories.Come for the frialator's foods, it does good work, but avoid everything else.
