We had a nice, basic lunch at an interior table - the number of window tables is understandably limited. The staff was very friendly. The food was fine and affordable. We came to check the lodge off our bucket list - I wouldn’t recommend going too far out of your way to stop in.
We had lunch there today. Service was good. We had a reuben with onion rings and a bacon, avocado, tomato panini with sweet potato fries. Our food was good and reasonably priced. The view from the dining room was amazing. We hope to return soon for dinner. We used to enjoy the Friday seafood buffet, but that is no longer available. The lodge, restaurant and grounds are worth the trip any season of the year.
We drove about an hour to eat dinner here. When we first got there, we were told there would be a 20-25 minute wait well we ended up waiting 45 minutes. They had a wedding going on inside which was very loud. The menu is nothing like it used to be. They used to have a wide selection of food but now they have more wine and beer than food.
