We got biscuits and gravy and they were good. The problem was the service they never came to check on us or bring more coffee. We ordered two biscuits and gravy just one platter and my husband and I were going to split it. They ended up giving us one biscuit instead of two. And they also told us there would be a plate sharing charge since we shared the meal. Which they did not inform us of that until after we ate our meal.We didn’t even get an extra plate and it was not printed on their menu that there would be an extra charge for sharing a meal, when we went to pay we told them we only got one biscuit instead of two as requested, and she did not believe us. this was my first time at this restaurant. We are new to the area and wanted to find a good breakfast place that had good biscuits and gravy, but I must say, I will not return after the experience we had. Also, they only take cash Which I don’t understand why businesses do that. I didn’t notice that a little sign on the front door because there were so many Kinds of stickers on the front door. Thank goodness my in-laws were with us that could pay for our meal with cash because we do not carry much cash.

DO NOT GO HERE ON SATURDAYS!!! Seems to be a different crew than the weekdays where the service and food is always good. Food today was undercooked and the cook comes back and gets in your face if you ask for something to be cooked a littler further. My friend asked for her scrapple to be browned a little further. The cook came back and said that's they way it is cause she asked for it to be thinly sliced. To brown it, it would cause her to turn up the grill and burn other people's food. What a crock! When my friend said she wouldn't pay for what she didn't order, the cook said "yes you will" and that she should "learn how to order". Couldn't be more rude. My pancakes and homefries were also undercooked! I do want to point out that the young girl who was the waitress was very nice however. I will give this place a another chance - Maybe! but will only be on weekdays. I hope the management reads this cause they do need to make changes with that Saturday staff.

My mother, sister, and I stopped in there for breakfast. I have a service dog with me who is a small breed dog. Most people think service dogs are only large dogs. But they can be small as well. My service dog rides in a stroller because she has been kicked and injured when walking with me. People just don't look down. So for her safety and mine, she rides. Right after we took a seat the owner came out and said we had to leave. She didn't want a dog at her table. I informed her that this was a service dog and she said she didn't care. I again explained the dog was a service dog for me and about being kicked in the past. She didn't care. She said health department rules prevented it. I then told her the Federal ADA laws are above local laws. She became nasty and we left , not knowing what she was capable of in her anger. This left a very bad impression of Berryville for my family and me. I have never been refused service because of my service dog. How sad there are people out there like that still.

I had the same experience that many others on here and google in that the staff was unfriendly and 1 in particular rude. May have been the owner. I'm a pretty friendly person so if an interaction doesn't go well esp in a restaurant setting, it's not me. I was visiting Berryville so not a local. The waitress approached me no smile or friendly greeting which set the tone for me immediately. I noticed she was friendly to other customers. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. I was at least hoping for maple syrup with my pancakes! Instead just the fake stuff. What I ordered came with 2 large pancakes and that was too much for me. They were unwilling to take off anything without charging me ala carte. They could have done that easily . On top of that the waitress never came back to see how my food was and I had to wave her down for more coffee. When I expressed this, I just got excuses and then the owner I believe it was very rude. I happened to overlook the cash only sign and she was really nasty about that. So I had to go to atm for cash and when I was walking out after paying, she started clapping. Not sure what that was about. This was the worst dining experience ever! Too bad they haven't learned anything from numerous negative reviews.

I have a severe dairy allergy, I explained that to the waitress. The garden salad I ordered came covered in cheese. The owner/chef expressed extreme frustration and annoyance when asked to remake the salad. Then told us we would have to wait for her until she made all the other orders all and then my salad. I will never be coming back.
