Great local restaurant. I wish they had a bit more on kids menu but otherwise we love this restaurant. The pizza is great!

Just tried this place for the first time. It was FANTASTIC! Coming from NY to VA finding good pizza felt impossible, however trying out Mario’s pizza tasted like a slice of home.

The salad, a mere half a cup of lettuce in a petite bowl, was accompanied by a single shred of cabbage, a quarter of a tomato, and a mere speck of cucumber. The dressing, an unadulterated 100% vinegar, was presented in such a small bowl that mixing it was practically impossible. The white pizza I had ordered was, to our dismay, utterly bland. On the other hand, my friend opted for a meat lovers pizza, which, despite its name, failed to deliver much meat. Needless to say, we were left feeling deeply disappointed, as our expectations had been raised by the positive reviews we had read.

Stopped in, party of 4. Subs and soup. Tuna, steak & cheese, Italian works, Italian wedding soup - all well received. Service was slow.
Sal made us a margarita pizza and it was the best pizza I have had. Best Pizza in town. Thanks Sal! Shyann is the best waitress there is.

First of all I left a very negative review based on not being able to reach anyone at Mario's during business hours for days. I eventually fount out that it was the time of the local County Fair and they were closed. I would strongly suggest they put that on there answering machine at the resteraunt. If they haven't got one that's easy to resolve. Now my real review is based on phone orders and pick up as my family and I are disabled and none of the door dash or grub hub are servicing this area (rural). Anyway, they are kind enough to go out of their way to help me whenever I place an order. They also have delicious food. I think they use ciabatta rolls for bread. I doubt they make it. I think it's a bad choice for helping to eat up salads and sauces with pasta. it's very heavy, where as Italian is light and fluffy. On the other hand they are light on the bread serving, at least with take out, not that I'd want more ciabatta. I have fresh made Italian, Cuban or Baguette at home. But I do love their eggplant parm. They make it very close to how my Mom and I make it at home. Try them. And tip well. I'm always looking forward to my next visit.
