Really bad experience not worth the price. Modified my reservation two hours before and they tried to charge the 3 course meal with like 4 tiny sandwiches that had be prepped instead of the overpriced desserts i got anyway. Our server was sweet and apologetic but i was not impressed with the way things were handled.They already closed the Winchester location wouldn’t surprise me if this closed too.

What a wonderful place! I brought my daughter and her friend for a birthday tea and they had a great time. The staff were so kind and clearly enjoyed their jobs. We got tea and scones, and the little poppet platter which included fancy PB&J, deli sandwich kabobs (the favorite), a Nutella and banana filled croissant, a cookie, and a bite sized piece of cake. My recommendation would be to have more plain options for picky eaters (a mini croissant, a different cake flavor, a fruit skewer). I removed one star only because for the price, I would have liked to have some options to build the little poppet service.

I don’t even know how to begin describing this wonderful, wonderful place. I’ve been back often for birthday celebrations. They have themes for tea and I’ve celebrated the hobbit, Harry Potter and Paris. That was just this year! I got dressed up for all. We were all there for my daughters birthday this month. The food was amazing and so was the service. The atmosphere is impeccable. Be prepared to make reservations on their website and to spend some money but it’s all worth it!!

I highly recommend The Tea Cart. I was the coordinator for a wedding and together with Landfall Lodge, we planned out a brunch/mimosa bar for one of our brides. The Tea Cart did an excellent job creating beautiful and tasty tea sandwiches as well as made delicious desserts. They delivered right to the venue. Everything tasted amazing. Wow! We drove 2 hours to bring our baby girl for her first birthday and we are so glad we did! The tea and food were astonishing! The employees were so kind, patient and personable. The atmosphere was beautiful and it felt so fancy; yet comfortable! I recommend this and we will definitely be making the drive back to visit again soon!❤️

I talked to the staff multiple times before my party and was never told about the cake cutting fee until the day of and the alcoholic beverages they would be offering my guests before asking the host. Just disappointed that these things weren’t mentioned to me in any of the 4 different times I talked to the staff prior to my party.

I’ve eaten here 3 times and have enjoyed my teas. This time I paid cash and card and they took all $45 cash as tip on a $60 meal! It was supposed to be paid cash and the rest on card. So the meal for one person ended up costing $100+. I can no longer recommend.
Cute concept, but poor service! It's inexcusable to have to chase down our server for water refills, and I had to take my card up for payment bc our server never came back to get the check. Overall, pretty disappointing for the cost.

I just had my bridal shower catered in Midlothian by the Berryville team. The event was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was unmatched! Honestly, I cannot image how the day would have gone without them! I can’t recommend The Tea Cart VA enough! All my thanks and appreciation to the team!!!

After a wonderful time at tea cart Winchester location..I fell down their staircase out front. I'm still suffering from the fall but the owner could of cared less that day. all I got was I'm sorry as she walked back inside. be careful in rainy conditions on their stairs out front. they are painted with no grip tape and no hand rail in center, the outer hand rails aren't usable they come to my thigh. I broke my tailbone that day, my hip joint is injured among other things.... still going to physical therapy twice a week... it's been a horrible a year ...some compassion from owner would have went a long way but unfortunately there was none given
