I had the opportunity to work with the owner and some of her team ( i'm disappointed I didn't introduce myself to everyone) try some of the food that they make at an event I volunteered at. Absolutely amazing! Amazing work ethic! You don't feel like a customer because you're a guest. I have had the cupcakes and desserts from country kitchen in the past but their food is fantastic. I was very impressed. Fried chicken is crispy. The sides are perfectly seasoned....
Food is a solid 3/5 I wish there was more seasoning in the mashed potatoes especially. But I would give the service a 2 due to not taking accountability over the constant AI usage. Your food photos are AI regardless if you say so or not and then denying that instead of taking accountability is just downright troublesome. Take photos of your food. Edit them in picsart if you dont like the lighting, it's free. But to deny the truth to a community member is truly not Appalachian....
I only wish County Kitchen wasn't a 6hr drive for me, It would be my weekly dinner spot on Fridays. It's home cooking that reminds me of Sunday family dinners. I don't think I've ever ordered from their menu, it's always one of their daily specials.
