Absolutely awful sandwich that was supposed to be done in 45 minutes (which I thought was bad...) but it took 1 hr and 10 minutes. Staff moving as fast as a sloth would be. Manager hiding in back! Sandwich was supposed to be minus tomato slice. Yep, we got a tomato! Suppose to have a sauce on it. NOPE; no sauce. Worse experience ever!

This must be a sick joke. I have asked for no bacon and marinated tomatoes every time I order my hot signature sandwich and they have messed it up four times. The first time alright Ill let it slide but the fourth time, are you kidding me? Those ingredients dont even show up on the ticket. It really blows my mind how such a simple task can be unsuccessful over and over and over again. Also Im pretty sure they have been out of avocados since the prehistoric time because I have yet seen them have avocados.

The sandwiches are great when they actually have them. Most of the time they run out. Thankfully the one on campus actually has a sandwich line that will make them even when they run out of the grab and go. :)

Food is good, However, there aren't many categories of soup as it is being sold at the ABP near Otey Street

Expensive for salads, moderately priced for bagels. ALWAYS get the receipt for your coffee. You can use it for FREE REFILLS at all Au Bon Pain outlets on campus on the SAME DAY.

It's Au Bon Pain. The prices are obscene, but if you're a VT student with a meal plan, who cares? The pastries are good, but overpriced, sandwiches are edible, and overpriced, and the coffee is palatable, and overpriced. If you feel like a taste of the sort of price-gouging mediocrity of an airport food court, this ABP is for you. Exit the bubble of the VT campus if money is an object for you, as there're several restaurants offering better food for way less $$$. Or, come towards the end of the Spring semester and ogle the students trying to use up the last of the money on their meal plans. They know where to go to drain their accounts. Pricey, mediocre food court cuisine served to a captive audience. What's not to like?

Typical chain is typical. Nothing to see here, but it's decent for on campus eats on the run. There is much better in blacksburg.

The best thing about this place is the fact that Virginia Tech has pulled some serious strings to allow meal plans to cover purchases made here. Students get everything half off, your card is swiped, and you can leave with a gigantic smile on your face thanking the Hokie higher-ups for making this possible. I am a s***** for the Mediterranean wrap and the croissants here. When I'm sick, their soups ALWAYS do it for me and there are six different kinds everyday. Their sandwiches are pretty much a 10 on the amazing scale as are their fresh pastries, fruit cups, yogurt, and peach tea. Oh and the card swiper guy (Stephen) always makes my day. I don't care how long his line is... my card will be swiped here because he is the best and everyone knows it. He's kind of a legend on campus (like the old guys that run in their little shorts) - there's even a Facebook group for him ( I really don't have much more to say... I love ABP.

Really good sandwiches and soups! Coffee is good too! The cookies are alright, but I've only tried the sugar cookies so far. The bagels are good, but they lack a toaster there for public use which lessens the yumminess of the starchy bagels. The sandwiches and soups are slightly pricey for blacksburg, but possibly worth it, since I haven't been disappointed yet. The only downside is that it is located on the opposite end of campus from my office. Therefore I rarely get the opportunity to make the hike across the drillfield.
