“My daughter and I were in town and found this gem. Ty was our waiter and he was great! I got the filet mignon and my daughter got the beef tips. We really enjoyed our food. We got a charcuterie board to go to munch on at our vacation rental house. I will come here again on my next trip to Blacksburg!“

“1st time here yesterday. Great server named TOMMI. She was very friendly, attentive & fixed a couple of issues I had with seating. Delicious pizza!! I was disappointed that a female manager walked by my table 5 or 6 times yet never acknowledged me the way I saw her speaking to other guests. Odd. Loved the ambience. The guy who looks like Shaggy (lol) was super friendly. I will be back.“

“On Wednesday my friend and I stopped in for margaritas and a snack. I had the flavored piña colada margarita and my friend had a skinny margarita. Both drinks were great and very nicely priced. The chorizo queso was the best I’ve had in town. The service was friendly, quick and accurate. Excellent patio seating and the lights are a nice touch as the sun sets. I’ll be back!“

“This place was great. We sat outside and Keely was our server! She was so friendly and answered our many questions with a smile. It's been a loooooong time since we've eaten somewhere that everything ordered was PHENOMENAL! Usually stuff tastes like frozen bar food...not here!! We got the hot pimento dip with chips and pickles. There are no words to described how delicious and unique this was. There were 3 in our party - we each ordered different items... and each entree was delicious, fresh and full of flavor. You must try this place.“

“Not just the coolest bar and nightclub in Blacksburg, it's the ONLY cool bar and nightclub in Blacksburg.
No one else is hosting any live music in town (yeah, OK the Lyric, but it's once every other month) and they are booking great regional talent. For instance, last Saturday featured a ten-band metal showcase starting at 3pm followed by a rave.
Beyond that, the space is big and dark so you don't have to worry about elbow room unless there is an event, the TVs aren't constantly set on ESPN, the people are friendly and service is fast.
The Milk Parlor and a couple other stores on the same block are some of the final holdouts of the Ye Olde Blacksburg. So if your cool Brooklyn friends are in town, bring them here so they don't think you've gone to college in a Virtual Northern Virginia populated by meatheads and squares, and that in ten years you'll wind up assistant manager of some sad hotel in a town even less cool than Blacksburg.
The food is great. To properly address the limitations of their menu would require a paragraph about Virginia's stupid alcohol and kitchen regulations.“
