Have always loved Firehouse Subs, food is great and also love the firehouse motiff. However, i favor VA Tech over other universities since it's in my home area, but the wall mural seems to display a communal insecurity🙄 Also, after i agreed to a donation, they doubled it—but promptly refunded it when i brought it to their attention.

Charged me for an extra combo. The store was closing so they didn't fix it. Pretty sure it was done purposefully. They were also out of pickles so paid $60 for 4 small combos and got no pickles! Not happy at all.

This was the best sub I have ever had!! I had never tried a firehouse sub before. The girls there explained how to order and their process and was very nice. The sub was perfect and I also got some mac n cheese that was really good.

They lock their doors a solid 30 minutes early. I get wanting to close on time but let your hours reflect when you are actually available within reason.

They are always super friendly. The food is always amazing. The subs are thick and always yummy. Plus I have never gotten bad food or service here.

Firehouse Subs in Blacksburg, VA, near Virginia Tech, is an absolute gem! Every time I visit, I’m greeted with friendly smiles and exceptional customer service. The staff are attentive, quick, and clearly take pride in what they do.
The subs are always fresh, generously packed, and full of flavor. My personal favorite is the Hook & Ladder – the combination of smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted cheese is perfection. They also offer a great selection of toppings and sides, so there’s something for everyone.
The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, and the firehouse theme adds a unique charm to the dining experience. Plus, knowing they support first responders makes dining here even better.

kinda sad i love getting the steak n cheese but
2 large sandwiches for $30 or go next door to subway and get 2 footlongs for $12 with their BOGO deal. it's the pretty obvious choice everytime i wish it was easier to eat here :(

Just watch an employee change the furnace filters and wipe down the vent covers in the ceiling, as another employee under him was fixing someone's food
