Footlong had several places with no meat. Ordered for a 1230 pick up but it probably sat on the shelf for an hour. It was ice cold. Tables are always dirty. Sick of this place.

I usually get good food when I visit here but my last visit was not good. I ordered the meatball sandwich to go. The meatballs were cold inside and the sandwich was placed upside down in the cardboard box; the meatballs fell out when I picked up the sandwich.

First and last visit to this Firehouse. Walk in order and waited 30 minutes for medium Hook&Ladder. New to area and thought we would try it. Not the usual atmosphere “Welcome to Firehouse and Thank you ! As expensive as food is. I expected more. I left Fire House a few years ago in another city due to always feeling like I got a bread sandwich.

I have not been to a Firehouse Subs in quite a while, but I always loved it. This last visit however, was not on par with past visits and I'm not sure if it was a one off or the new normal. The sandwiches were noticeably smaller with a lot less meat and toppings. The service was slow considering we were the only customers there. The soda machine was nearly out of every option, and what they did have was watered down. Our subs came with stuff we asked not to have and did not have some of the toppings we did ask for. The customer space was not as clean as it should have been, and two employees were watching TV throughout our time there.I love the concept of what Firehouse stands for, and I hope this was a one off situation. If we decide to eat there again and things are the same, it will be the last.

Visited as a parent with a couple of kids from VT. Lady in front of us ordered 10 sandwiches and the crew handled it well. Morning rush didn’t seem to phase the staff and our sandwiches were all made really well. 10/10. Military discount too.
Firehouse is always a good experience. I've been to numerous Firehouse locations on the east coast, and I've never been disappointed...this location in blacksburg is no exception. One of the better run franchises in "fast food"

One of the employee's best describe as (girl with long blonde dreads) is so negative with the other employees and was just standing around while one other employee was actually working. With only 10 customers in the restaurant everyone was waiting 20+ minutes for food. The is the definition of a toxic employee and will make you lose your good ones for sure. My food was great but the one employee that took my order and prepared it looks like he is ready to lose his mind!
