We did not hire this company because they were unresponsive. After providing a sample menu for our wedding, we never heard back. So we followed up to request a quote. Three weeks passed with no response, so we ended the discussions.

Hazelbea Catering did an amazing job coming up with a delicious menu for my wedding guests. She gave us a lot of incredible choices that all accommodated my husband and I's admittedly weird do's and don'ts. The beef brisket was perfection, and I enjoyed the leftover dairy-free chicken picatta pasta for DAYS after the wedding, breakfast lunch and dinner. The catering staff was prompt, professional, and organized, helping make our wedding day perfect. My cousin really enjoyed her custom pescatarian dish. I couldn't have asked for anything else! Rachel is the best.

Leadership was extremely hard to get ahold of leading up to the event, but once on site they were efficient, professional, flexible, and always pleasant. They were very patient and accommodating with changes to the menu and extras. They definitely helped make my event a magical experience.

Loved last week's chicken. Sauce was delicious, chicken moist and tender, and veg al dente-just the way I like it. All containers compostable. Will order again soon! Highly recommend!

I inquired about a quote from this catering company for my wedding in May 2021. I was extremely disappointed by my first and only conversation with Rachel. I was very caught off guard by the questions she asked me. I was hoping to set up a tasting assuming she had a catering menu, but instead she does “custom” menus— I appreciate that, but she didn’t really explain this to me until she was knee deep in 21 questions with my husband and I. I guess the most upsetting part of our conversation was the irrelevant questions— for example what my husband and I do for work. It left me with an extremely bad taste in my mouth. Her tone and questions turned passive aggressive, classist, and downright unprofessional. I felt like my husband and I were being sized up to see if it would be a waste of her time to give us an estimate. Desperate for a caterer, we had to remind her to send us a quote again. Needless to say, we ended up going with a different company that costed a bit more than hazelbea, but was very professional and responsive. Business owners: communication is key- slow down and communicate to your customers. Never assume what someone can and cannot afford. Treat everyone with the same respect.

Hazelbea Catering brunch at Moon Hollow Brewing was delicious!

Had Mother's Day brunch catered by HazelBea at Moon Hollow brewery. They were VERY busy (as you would expect for Mother's Day brunch!), but the food was delicious! Five of us there, had multiple different items and we were all please with our choices. I believe they are planning to make this a monthly thing; we will definitely go again!

I cannot say enough about HazelBea. We do the weekly order for a meal for our family of 4. It is always delicious, fresh, and honestly beautiful. Each time my husband and I are blown away by how delicious it is. I am so grateful to have HazelBea in our area! They deliver too!

We have been super happy with HazelBea Meals at Home - the food is original and delicious, and we can eat it for days and not feel the "ick" of too much restaurant, which tells us it is prepared with health and taste in mind. Highly recommend, esp for time-poor folks that like good food.
