This place is SO. DARN. GOOD. The freshest sushi, the most flavorful broths. The cocktails are DELICIOUS and nuanced, they have both craft cocktail and “dive bar” style. Sapporo ON DRAFT. The tea is also delicious, the hot ginger tea is so yummy and spicy. They are generous with sashimi portions and service is attentive and prompt. The vibes are cozy as well. 10/10

Hefun is so good. It’s right in downtown Blacksburg and it never disappoints. The wait time is always quick, the service is fantastic, and every bartender and server is great and attentive. I’ve had alot of their stuff, the steak and chicken hibachi, and I’m originally from New York, so I’ve had my fair share of good food, but nothing has ever hit like Hefun’s hibachi. The flavors are solid, the portions are generous, and it’s consistently cooked perfectly every time....

I had an amazing time eating here! The host, Lea, was very accomodating and kind. She offered great recommendations and was very friendly. The food was amazing and well priced. Will definitely visit again!
