Jersey Mike’s is hands down my favorite sub spot in Blacksburg. The sandwiches are always fresh and delicious, and the customer service is top notch every time I visit. The staff is friendly, fast, and professional. One of the on duty managers, Michael, does an amazing job leading the team and creating a great atmosphere that keeps me coming back.

I used to go here sometimes in 2017-18 when I was in college and never had a bad experience, but being back in town I stopped here thinking it would be a less than 10 minute experience and wound up waiting in line for over 30 minutes. From walk-in to checkout it took about 40 minutes to get an Italian sub. It was peak lunchtime which usually is understandable, but of the 5 or 6 people behind the corner, only 1 was actually moving with purpose. Everyone else moved like molasses. With 5 people in front of me it means it took 8 minutes on average per person in line. Never going back to this location again.
