I was greeted at the door and the service was excellent. The food was good. The prices were an inexpensive and the atmosphere was quite nostalgic.

Visiting the area and dropped in for Breakfast. Friendly staff, food was perfect, and so was the atmosphere. We love the old diner feel. You won’t be sorry you stopped here.

I can't believe I've never eaten here before. We were set up at Steppin Out as a vendor and needed something to eat so my wife bought us biscuit and gravy. I knew I would be jumping out on the limb here taking a risk trying the biscuit and gravy. Places I have been to when traveling for cooking competitions have not impressed me, but Joe's Diner biscuit and gravy were perfect. We will definitely have breakfast here again

Both the man and the woman that worked. There are just extremely rude.I asked how long it would take to get my food? And instead of giving me an answer, she just wanted to ask me more questions when I tried to explain to her the need to know she was just even more rude, rolling her eyes and making comments. The food looked awful.I wouldn't go here.

Ordered a grill cheese and fries and breakfast sandwich. Grill C like a hockey puck. Breakfast sandwich was one slice toast the other raw bread ? Who does that ? All that crap food for 25 dollars .. this place always was a dive but with decent food … now the food sucks along with the prices .. never again

From the moment you walk in the door there's an instant feeling of Blacksburg, and if not the entire state of Virginia, memorabilia. Being one of the oldest diners in Virginia nostalgia and history meet with just darn great food, impeccable service, and a friendly smile, at a cost that's undeniably affordable. Mariana is amazing and you just can't get a better breakfast in Blacksburg.

Absolutely horrible experience. Lady running the place was extremely rude and demanded we throw our coffee out before entering. After not being able to locate a trashcan she told us to leave and find one. We proceeded to walk outside and she insisted we go somewhere else as she didn’t want to serve us. Dark haired younger lady.

Will never go back and would never recommend

It was really quiet on a Friday morning, but I still had a good experience. Our server was nice and we got our food quickly.

I ended up getting a breakfast burrito, which was good. There was something in it that was sweet- not a fan of that, but a tasty burrito!

Good breakfast spot!

It was busy when we got there, so we sat at the counter. The food came shortly after we ordered and exactly the way we ordered it. Highly recommend.
