Selling 20% off molded Gouda cheese
URGENT! I recommend that the drive through pharmacy allow customers to say their credit card numbers with out handing it back and forth through the slot. Please stop asking for signatures when picking up scripts. You cant read the signatures anyway, and what you sign is a torn off piece of paper that the clerk tears off un gloved, and you are given on an OLD CHIPPED PRESS BOARD CLIPBOARD that I am sure cant be disinfected and a COMMUNITY USE PEN to sign with. There was no way to wipe my hands clean since I was in my vehicle so I touched my steering wheel ,door handle and my front door before I could wash my hands. It eliminated any advantage to driving through. The clip board needs to at least be plastic at least and the clerk needs to put the bottles in the bags while wearing gloves so the customer only has to retrieve the prescription with out this very not safe way of doing this. The whole reason for people to go through the drive through is to AVOID the contact and if you were sick you would think the same thing. The drive through, as you are doing it, is a bottle neck for contagions. Please correct this. Thank you and stay safe!

Good food
We are from Harrisonburg and came down for spring game, all I wanted was to take their Jarlsburg cheese dip to our tailgate, we stopped by Saturday morning and they were out. We stopped by again Sunday morning to get some to take home and same thing, I spoke with one of the 15 or so people working in the cheese/deli area said they had had call offs that weekend and had been unable to make it. Very frustrating.

I know the South Main Kroger in Blacksburg is doing renovations (to add a Starbucks when there is one a block away) and more do-it-yourself checkout lanes, but the regular checkout lanes are short-staffed (2 open, 1 bagger). The new scan-bag-go system is getting all kinds of complaints about glitches and having to start over. Staff is trying hard, but morale is low. The so-called "Gourmet" Kroger has a wide selection (although always out of something I want), but Food Lion is closer, less-expensive, and staffs the check-out lanes. Once the new Aldi's opens, busy people who don't have time to linger over a latte will be shopping elsewhere.
It is fast and has good service.
This used to be my go to place to shop just about every day. Now I find out that Dr. Moon is not allowed to play his guitar in front of the store. I've seen that man brighten up more faces than I care to count. He is a staple to Blacksburg and the South main Kroger. The new manager needs to let him stay. You all need to say something too if we want this to happen.
Frank is the nicest checker. We always look for him at check out.
They have an interesting station that measures blood pressure, weight and body fat at the pharmacy section.
