It was my first time at a placed that served ramen and I was throughly impressed with the food, drinks, service and atmosphere 10/10

Loved coming here last week. I had a pretty vicious cold and the Tokyo Shoyu was the way to go. It was absolutely delicious and flavorful and made me feel right at home. People say they check in too often but I prefer that, it shows they care!

Foods are a pass. Chicken is from frozen stock and has a weird taste. Pork is dry and greasy and is served cold. Curry is one of a kind, not bad.

Dirty restaurant. Terrible food for the expensive price. Terrible service and management. Management is absolutely horrible. They charged me multiple times and said they won’t refund me but did not refund me. DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Horrible attitude from the staff. Charged us THREE TIMES, INCLUDING THE TABLE AFTER US.
They did NOT listen to us EVEN when we showed credit card transaction history, INSISTED on charging the right amount the day of, and AGAIN INSISTED on having properly refunded us the second day (and NO, we did NOT get refunded). 避雷这家店

Absolutely the WORST dining experience in Blacksburg.
First, they served us the wrong food (someone else’s noodles). Then, when it came time to pay, we confirmed the bill and successfully paid through Apple Pay with AMEX. Despite this, another staff member came over later, claimed the payment didnt go through, and pressured us into paying again.
The next day, I checked my bank accounts and, just as I suspected, BOTH cards had been charged. When I returned to confront them, instead of admitting their mistake or apologizing for falsely accusing us, the staff dodged responsibility and tried to cover it up by saying they had already refunded us after we left. (wait, didn't you say the payment failed??? How on earth could you refund a unsuccessful payment???)
To make matters worse, the “refund receipt” they showed listed items we NEVER even ordered???(So for the same meal, I ended up seeing three different values in my accounts, pure nonsense)
The whole experience was a complete waste of time, and ruined our evening. The management here is careless, chaotic, and unwilling to take responsibility for their own errors. No apology, no accountability—just attempts to gaslight the customer as if we were at fault.
If you value your time, and your mood, stay far away from this place.

Not worth it. The prices are already high, and now they're CHARGING FEE FOR TO-GO ORDERS. It's upsetting to see how businesses are passing more costs onto consumers.
We came to Kuma Moon expecting a relaxing meal, but a staff kept checking on our table far too often, while other customers seemed to be left to enjoy their food in peace. It made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were being treated differently for some reason. The food was fine, but the experience left a bad taste.

I’m from South Carolina and I wanted to try a new Ramen place so I came here. The smell of the Ramen made my stomach hurt and it did not taste good at all. The mochi fell apart in my mouth And none of the flavors were good at all. I also ordered the brown sugar, milk tea, and it tasted like water. I’m very disappointed in my food, but the customer service is very good. A waste of $65.

Incredibly upset over this. Ive been coming here almost 2 years now and have recently noticed a change. I used to see these two employees that were always kind and would ensure my drink was to my liking. I havent seen them in a month or so and the quality went with them. The tapioca pearls are starchy and undercooked(raw tapioca flour). I ordered my drink with no ice and got extra. In the past month ive had issues with my drink having sugar and syrup when i requested otherwise. I specifically asked for no chewy cubes because they did not have them before and they changed it suddenly which resulted in my little sister getting sick hence why i ordered it without them. Still they were there. When i went in to talk to the girl she blatantly ignored me so i call just for her to tell me she actually made it right and i was wrong. I was trying to talk about getting it remade or refunded and she hung up on me. Safe to say ive given up on kuma moon. It was made wrong i spent $20 on two drinks and the staff was rude. No thank you!

Absolutely get the mayu the garlic oil they add is amazing. And the portions are proportionate to the value !
