Great food and a cozy little restaurant, especially so right around sunset. The owner's a bit of an eccentric, but his staff is excellent and incredibly attentive. I've never eaten a dish here that I didn't enjoy.

Thank you for existing. Have only enjoyed carbonara pasta and chickie parm slice and they were stunning. It’s so so nice to have elevated Italian food in Blacksburg. Will be eating my way through the menu now!

Incredible Roman style fare.Pizza is top tier, both the carbonara and the red sauce pizzas. The red sauce has great flavor.Pasta fresh and delicious with creamy sauces.Owner and staff super friendly and passionate about the place.

Not your mama’s pasta is a wonderful restaurant. As a local, this is probably the best Italian-style food that I have had in the NRV. I’ve visited several times over the last 6 months and have been happy with flavor of the food, the staff, and the atmosphere. I’m excited for my next visit to try another new dish!

Positives: the pizza crust is excellent, you can tell the bread is fresh and the tomato sauce is quality made.Negatives: the caico e pepe started with a good flavor, but turned extremely salty to the point of not being able to finish it. I understand it’s supposed to be salty but the batch I had was overbearing.Overall: I think it’s worth trying if you have time on your hands, but I will not return because 1 hour wait is crazy with no prior communication just for one pasta and one pizza. They need to figure out how to manage crowds and communicate with customers.Extra information: I think they forgot about our food because we ordered before a big crowd came in, but ended up waiting 1 hour. We were going to dine in, but did take out since it was busy. It was obvious they prioritised other orders before ours, since we only got our food once the entire take out line and in house cleared out.

I’m Very ANGRY! Why!? Why they open ONLY! Three! Days! A week?!!!!!!!!!!!Seriously, what’s the point to pay for all this rent and open only 3 days for 4,5 hours? I’m so disagree! I need the owner to explain? Maybe I can help? Cuz I desperately need this carbonara pasta almost every day!
