Had a delicious dinner here; I highly recommend the zozzona! Service was quite slow, but I recognize that I went on a Friday night during homecoming so I’m sure there was a lot going on in the kitchen. My one suggestion would be to have black and red pepper and salt at the tables (although, I was seated outside so maybe they just forgot to put them out there). I don’t come to Blacksburg often but I look forward to eating here again!

I’m impressed by this gem!
The pasta is made with organic flour , the texture is very good and their sauce are delicious and fresh.
Highly recommend the pesto sauce from their own grown basil.
The owner has so much knowledge about all the ingredients and authentic Italian recipes that it was an amazing experience hearing from him.
Thanks so much for making our dinner special

The food blew us away. We tried the pistachio cacio e Pepe and crudo pizza. Both were fantastic! The food was incredibly fresh and did not last long in front of us. Wish we took pictures before it was devoured.

I’m a local vt professor and we really enjoyed the special classic pesto pasta and pomodoro pinsa - I can’t say enough good things about having an Italian restaurant driven by excellent, local ingredients, handmade pasta and simple thoughtful execution- not over wrought (thank you Chris Cirenza!) - then they have a great choice of wine and other options (Gavi and Kaltern Pinot Nero). The service is attentive and friendly. I look forward to my next visit and trying the next special…

Fun and a delicious take on pasta and pizza. The ingredient lists are very small and let the ingredients shine.

Great food and a cozy little restaurant, especially so right around sunset. The owner's a bit of an eccentric, but his staff is excellent and incredibly attentive. I've never eaten a dish here that I didn't enjoy.

Thank you for existing. Have only enjoyed carbonara pasta and chickie parm slice and they were stunning. It’s so so nice to have elevated Italian food in Blacksburg. Will be eating my way through the menu now!
