Going there about year now , but been experience bad service for couple times I visit. They will not smile or even say thank you to you . I notice some cashier are new there. I don’t like to go back anymore.

This was a disappointing experience. We were expecting a relaxing brunch with delicious food. I had no idea it was an order-at-the-counter, fight-for-a-seat, and fill-up-your-own drink establishment. I would have never gone had I known that.I asked a simple question to the cashier about something being made in-house and he did not have a clue. He eventually went to go ask as I needed to know if she corned beef and hash was homemade before I ordered it.The food was really bad. I have never experienced “corn beef hash” served in that manner. And, I do NOT recommend. It did not sit well on my stomach and regretted eating it. There was no toast or bread served alongside it - which I thought was strange since it was a bakery.Overall, this was the most disappointing part of our trick to Blacksburg and sad we finished out at such a terrible experience. The breakfast was so bad, I just wanted to leave quickly. …and we did.The place was also messy and not clean. The doors were gross and obviously not windex-ed in quite some time. It was gross.We had to sit outside due to no available tables inside. That was not to big of an issue; but, none of the outdoor heaters were turned on and it was cold. Also the eating experience was super dirty and grimy.

It was all about the pi on 3/14. Their pie was so good, we literally split the blueberry pie two ways over two days! We had to go back and get another and it too was a great berry pie!

Visited VT and needed a place close by to grab some food and coffee. This place was super close to our hotel and got good reviews. The menu is extensive, it’s roomy, clean, seat yourself for breakfast and the food was amazing. My ONE complaint; the staff seemed angry about being there at 7 am and having to serve people. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived and my son and I smiled and were very pleasant and thanked them every step of the way. The quiche I had was SO good and the portions of both meals were big. I just wish everyone hadn’t looked so unhappy and had smiled and were a bit kinder. I’d still go back againVegetarian options: Plenty of options to choose from.

I am always skeptical about giving a tip at a kiosk after waiting in line to order food. Maybe they predetermined the service you will receive. Sure seems that way. Order a piece of already prepared quiche and coffee. After 10 minutes, I asked about it. I saw a piece was missing from the diplay. They forgot. Dropped the ball. Or because I didn't tip at the kiosk they dismissed.

I cannot thank Our Daily Bread enough for their service and expertise. I recently had a baby shower and requested 4 dozen decorated sugar cookies in a forest theme. Not only did they turn out beautifully, they were delicious and they were individually wrapped for all of the attendants of our party. Additionally, the manager I dealt with during the process of ordering these cookies was absolutely lovely and so thoughtful. Not exaggerating, we had two cookies left from the party that my husband and I ate two weeks later and they were STILL SOFT! Thank you again, and we will definitely be buying more from y’all very soon!
