Preston's is a consistent 5-star rating. I dine there four to five times a month; I have never been disappointed. The choice of food is delicious and healthy. The service is excellent - polite, kind, and all that work there enjoy what they do. No matter how busy the restaurant might be, I am always treated in a very kind and warm manner by the Greeter, Servers, Chefs, and Managers. Such appreciation in a large establishment is rare. Preston's has set a standard for hospitality.

Service was great. Food on main menu was pretty bad. I would recommend appetizers and drinks only at the place, as they were much much better. But I would not ever eat a main meal here again.

The steak we ordered was extremely over cooked, and the burger was not at all as advertised. The food overall from appetizers to dinner plates were very underwhelming, especially for the price. The staff was pleasant. The restaurant decor and vibe felt like an average hotel restaurant.

Braised short rib over pepperdelle entree had virtually no meat. Just a few wisps for taste. It was just pasta. Disappointing.

My family of four had dinner at Preston's during a football weekend. We were not staying at the Inn. We easily got a reservation. It has a nice dinner menu, reasonable prices (maybe a little expensive for Blacksburg, but not bad), and good food. The service was congenial and helpful. It's a hotel restaurant so maybe not the most interesting ambiance, but it was a good experience. And so many other restaurants in Blacksburg are expensive without good food or ambiance. I would recommend Preston's and you can actually get a dinner reservation on a football weekend.

Very friendly service; attentive. Food was good to very good depending on the dish. Kitchen forgot a sauce on our entree, but they quickly corrected it. The friendly service convinced us to disregard the mistake. Thank you for a good, quiet evening with a quality meal!

Res 2/14/25 at7:15 pm. Seated at 7:30 pm had a bottle of wine and cocktail and ordered almost as soon as we sat down. 1 hour 15 minutes later no bread or appetizers and waitress never returned. Table next to us who came in 30 minutes after us got bread. We left and complained to manager. Preston's has really worsened over the last several years and we won't be back
