great dive bar with nice beers on draft and killer tots

Very local place in Blacksburg. Darts, pool table and beer. Perfect place for meeting friends. Tater tots were the only food item tried, so unable to provide more info on food overall.

Please get air fresheners or something…why does it smell worse than a public restroom at a Miami Beach… had to leave just to breathe

Their beer tap was broken so impacted the experience.

They had 2 employees, a bouncer and a bartender, on a friday before a VT home football game. Then had the audacity to claim full capacity, and blame the fire marshall. Dozens of open booths littered the bar. Clearly visible through the dirty windows. Turned away dozens of customers because management cant or wont hire proper staff. Dont patronize this establishment and torture their understaffed and overworked employees anymore than clocking in everyday already is.

It is a college bar (and map company) and looks like one. This place has the chill happy vibe and is always a go to. The BBQ chicken tacos are the best I've ever had - and Im fat. Go here.

The people here do not want to do any work or make any money for the restaurant. Probably the worst experience I’ve had going out in 5 years. On top of ignoring us, the mid 30s looking overweight female bartender was straight up rude to us when we asked for help.

Not sure if a unique situation... but came to visit in Blacksburg... went here for first time to have dinner . There were maybe 8 people at the bar and of course the bar tender was there. The rest of the place was completely empty.

My husband and I sat at a booth. We sat there over 5 minutes. Completely ignored. The bartender was chatting with the patrons at the bar. We were not greeted, ever acknowledged, asked if we wanted to place an order etc. We waited a few more minutes and just left. What the heck?

rivermill tots is the best thing to have at this place. the tots are great and i will live by that. i only come back for their tater tots. rivermill tots are the only things you need here. i will eat this over and over and over again. i cannot stress that enough. rivermill tots.

Excellent cheese fries

They gave us darts yet didn’t have chalk to keep track of the game. Otherwise, fine.
