Only one person seemed to be working in the restaurant. We waited 10 minutes before anyone sat us and he also was our server and bartender. Duck was overcooked and the chicken piccata was a platter of okay pasta with a few slices of chicken. Do not recommend.
Food was good and the service was friendly and attentive. We were there at a time when it wasn't busy.
Higher end restaurant in Blacksburg. Enjoyed our visit with our son Able to have quiet conversations.
I have eaten here before so I was acquainted with the facility. On this particular evening there appeared to be only one server for our dining room. He was very pleasant and was doing everything he could to provide good service, but it was just too much for one person to do. There was some delay in getting the food to the table, but the food was excellent.
Party of 8 following graduation, restaurant was very nice from an atmosphere standpoint, and the service was great. Our waitress was attentive, and addressed a couple of issues promptly. The food, not so great. 4 sal mon meals were dry/overcooked. Medium rare filet was well done. Lamb was Dry as well, and the beer was warm/flat.
The food here was amazing and everything was cooked perfectly. Potentially my new favorite restaurant in Blacksburg!
We were there during graduation week. The staff worked very hard to keep things moving in a busy week! I give the staff 5 stars for working hard to satisfy everyone. The food was ok. While the call themselves fine dining and the prices reflect that, the quality of the food does not line up w the label. Nothing was bad by any means (except for my asparagus which wasn't edible) it just wasn't exceptional for the price.
It's been a very long time since any of the 4 of us have eaten here and we were all very impressed with the service & food quality and quantity. Bella was our waitress and she was very attentive and always with a smile. Appetizers and dinner meals were all delicious. Definitely will return.
The food was excellent in taste and presentation. Two meals had to be sent back to get the meat to "medium" as ordered, but the meals came back quickly. They gave us comp deserts for our inconvenience.
Always a pleasant experience with amazing food. My duck was very moist and flavorful and my husband's snapper was excellent.

Inattentive waiter, food served without time to finish courses, entrees were at best lukewarm, fish was undercooked and in one case virtually inedible, sexist insistence on eye contact and bill presentation to male --despite reservation made by a female who had a credit card visible in effort to pay. A very disappointing birthday dinner...
Don't eat here. The kitchen was so backed up that it took forever to be served. The fish was like cardboard.
Food was flavorful, but smaller portions for the price paid. We waited quite a bit of time from the time the check was presented to the time the server came back to complete the transaction. No music in the restaurant that made conversations loud. As usual in Blacksburg, parking was difficult. No on premises parking.
Poor service, kind server, but poor service. The food had no flavor and was overcooked Our tablecloth was a wrinkly mess if you can believe that one. Save your money.
Unfortunately this restaurant was a huge disappointment. We had been seated for over an hour before we got our appetizer and then had to wait a long time for our main course. Server apologized several times but it was incredibly slow.
